i played on retail and their lvls are much longer than of l2 >.<
you needed for first lvl like in l2 for first 7 lvls at gremlins
and some other shi7 nothing special

ye, first levels you gain much faster in L2, but later, its much more longer time to level in L2.

anyway, i played wow for 1 year and L2 for 4 years....
both games are good in their aspects, but most of time, its like: if you play L2, then wow sux, if you play wow, then L2 sux..... (just as metal & hip hop fans)

yep..at 1st (just example) l2 has this wow don't have this then i will play l2..then if u bored l2 and say wow has this l2 don't has this i will play wow XD
now i have bored for a little wow+l2 XD

atm im boored of l2 and i play wow but i can see lots of things suck in wow like

no gatekeeper
skill anmations sux
you must walk crap loads of hours to get to some place
classes suck cuz druid is like a healer nuker warrior and rouge in one so he can kill almost anything
no passives
you cant hit evryone you see just those from the oposite faction
proffesions!!
cities just suck
the quest are just from 1 part like go talk to this guy and the quest is over or kill 8 of thesse and the quest is over
no oly and the arena pvp is awful
no sub calsses and noobless shits
most of the items look the same
