I heard the head gm of that insomnia server is the same as the old l2oracle which was kinda emo and shut down the server when she went emo.... anyone got some news about that?

What does l2off mean?

L2Off stands for C4 PTS leaked retail files which are modified through hex editing and dll hook to implement more features of later chronicles/thrones and fixed bugs. C4 PTS files are bugland as many "L2Off" servers mainly because the only way to fix the missing features and bugs, is to hex editing which may create more bugs and sometimes, some features are impossible to be fixed.

There are some L2Off servers that are very good. But those are not many, maybe 2-3.

Actually, if I had to play on a L2Off server, I would choose a C4 one, bugless and fully working features.
But still is hard as on the 60% of l2off servers still work ancient exploits and Hlapex/PHX.

Dex is a good example, as most of Hellbound L2Off servers around are using Dex files. they must be got rich for selling those files here and there.

bfdr is l2 off and it uses same files like dex and bfd dex and bfdr buys files from rusian programes (bfdr admins told that that they buyes ubdates from russian programes from the same as dex dose)
