Hello, there is a new server that came up lately and it's on Open Beta, just a breath before going on Live.

No wipe. Like reckless already said, open beta state is only while we're fixing bugs. After most of them are fixed (soon), we'll go to live WITHOUT wipe. What you get now is what you keep.

Dear L2-Temptation community members,

We have some great news!
After the exhausting open beta period (it lasted for two weeks) we believe we are finally ready to proceed with the next step of our évil masterplan!

Setting the joke aside.. We've been working hard and corrected many critical (and non critical) bugs. Economy was further balanced, community suggestions were accepted/denied, classes were being balanced... and so forth..

Community has increased along and is still rising steadily.. "2.010 Posts in 284 Topics by 318 Members".
Taking into consideration we are a brand new server (annoying you for three weeks now) who hasn't even gone live yet, I'd say that is a pretty nice number.

But... enough of the chit chat...

There are three important things that you, the members should know:
1. We are going to be moving towards live stage any day now (presumably before Sunday). *yeeeey* ^^
2. We have moved. Our new adress is http://temptation-network.com (temptation.info.tm is still usable in case you prefer it instead).
3. As we are always repeating it... We would like to be more than just a plain "gameplay" community!
As of such, we finally (yes we were delaying it due to a small community.) brought up the radio station that we promised we will. We intend to have three streams (three different broadcasts) which will be used to play music and/or report (comment) on different ingame activities like mass pvp, sieges, epic raids and such...

WE NEED community DJ'S!
Prerequirements are:
- must speak fluent english;
- must behave maturely (you get one chance and one chance only);
- must be polite at all times (you will be part of the L2TN staff after all);
- MUST know what the heck you're doing. Playing music randomly does NOT mean you are a DJ.

If you have ever been a dj before (wannabe included) and would like to volunteer for a role on L2TN, then email us an epplication to staff@temptation-network.com. Include your personal information (name, age, where you live at, times online... and other important information). Don't forget to write down an adress where we can contact you at (msn or yahoo contact) for an extensive interview.

So... (boy did I write an essay ^^)... Right now, server has been taken down to prepare it for the live stage. Estimate downtime is about a day or so. We will send out another bunch of emails / announcements when the server is in live stage, until then.. Our forum (and irc) is always there for you! Wink

edit: Due to an increased amount of false rumors... THERE WILL BE NO WIPE! What you god so far is what you'll be having on live.

Temptation has gone Live!!

Dear community,

It's been three months since the original idea of L2-Temptation was born. A place where everyone is free to give a suggestion, a community where the staff isn't consisted of a bunch of morons and generally a place where you can hang around and have fun without being called a no-lifer.

Some of our plans went astray for a while and things were looking shady BUT we took things seriously and gave it our best.

Three months of lots of sweating, swearing, cursing and quite a lot of sleepless nights and and we're finally at the point where we are now.

I'm glad to announce the LIVE stage of L2-Temptation server.


Accounts that haven't been activated up until now have been deleted so make sure to remake your account if you're one of those people.

Note: Since it is a special occasion an all, we convinced the.. always hillarious "DJ Whispy" to play music for us. Click on the link "listen" at the bottom left section of the website to tune in (open the link with winamp or any simmilar music player).

Anyway, It should be a great live with lots of fun and laughter so make sure to be a part of it. Don't forget to tell your friends about it! More of us, the merrier it gets.

and how will u know if there is a major dupe?players may keep it in secret well

To Pinko..if there would be a major exploit that would imbalance economy only in that case there would be a wipe but not now.

Wait!... x1000 servers have economy??? :O

Of course they do, supposing you acquire books for level 81+ skills and Vesper items/Vesper noble stones from raids only, which means many shops and many trades.
