hi guys, i'm not such an active member of this forum, but i read it almost every day, manny interesting things. i play lineage since 3 years a go, in the last year on high rate server.
some time a go i started to roll a phoenix knight mostly in olympiad. i didn't have to much experience with this char but i'm not a noob as well.
the thing in in few days i managed to kill almost everybody EXCEPT few classes. and this is how we get to my problem where i'd like to ask for ur help.
the classes who can't kill them it seems, or i can sometimes VERY, VERY HARD are : Phoenix Knight , Dark Avenger , Temple Knight.
so tanks like me let's say (DA, TK slightly different).
i have to mention it, we all have almost some equipment, basicly IC set +30, Dinasty Weapon Master Set +25, Shield Master +25, Boss Jewlls 30 (not so important against tanks though), Icarus Sawsword 25 focus, Icarus Dagger +25 Focus, Icarus Bow +25 focus. some of them use one of this sets and sometimes Dagger instead sawsword. I usually use IC set 30 + Sawsword Focus 25.
Having like same equipment i think is about my strategy.
i repeat , i killed all classes without problems except eva saint, summoner and these tanks. (but let's keep it at tanks for now).
the thing is they don't kill me, is about DOT (damage over time, let's say, i'm not sure is correct), actually they win dealing more damage then me. we all use same buffs, so no difference.
so any pro phoenix knight can give me some advices / tips about how to kill a tank? (PK, DA, TK)
i had a look on forum, i used search (for those who'll tell me use search noob ) but didn't find to manny specific information about this.
so if any really good pro tank, talking from experience could post some advices i'd be greatfull.
i mention my skills are enchanted +9, agression on Defense, sacrifice -cost, i use during the match all my skills, SoF, TOL, AI, UD, Sacrifice , Heal etc - BUT probably i don't use them at the right moment. I used the Bow, I stunned the enemy and heal mysef, i used Ud and healed myself. but still at the end i lost even if i had more HP then my opponent, because he gave me more damage it seems.
Waiting some advices , tips from u.

i use atm +5 con -5 dex and +4 wit - 4 int

you need to enter the match in AI , do sacrifice on the oly npc until u get under 30% .... make sure you get btb lvl 5 buff with soes staff

before 5 seconds use Angelic icon but dont use TOL yet , use it when all your CP is gone so you can use it's effect later when AI worns off

... i think that was your problem you waste too much time healing instead of dealing damage .... if you can't handle AI + TOL just dont use it from beginning , try to hit continuously and when hp drops just use TOL + sacrifices

i don't think i can beggin with AI because 2 reasons :
1. could be ban (over the body -titan, before start is BAN - so i think for AI as well)
2. i don't have enought time to "sacrifice on npc", i use 4 blunts for buffs (bless the body, focus, mental shield, regeneration), 5 buffs to get from manager(might, acumen, death whisper, wind walk, haste) + 4 from me - takes time + recharge of sacrifice i won't have time for sure

and yes what u said could be my problem, loosing time healing instead doing damage. actually for sure this is my problem.
so the question is how to deal more damage then the other guy?
i have some ideas but not sure.

all you need is btb lvl 5 + focus buff not other stupid crap use spirit shot while u do sacrifice , and equip +health weapon after you do bless the body its very easy

Not a great ideea to do that in my opinion. AI against tancs might seem like a good idea but it really isn't. 1st of all use search button. 2nd of all u'r skill enchant is weird. Dunno about dinasty set, never got to play on srv with one soo i really don't care about it but ic should be more than enuff. 1st of all. Be sure u'r opponent always has tribunal on him at all times. Try slam at cooldown. Use stun + bow or just bow to kill hk cat, summons. If u can afford enchant u'r sacrifice + power, ai + duration etc. Anyway u'll never have to use sacrifice. Get a bit far when stunned and get 1-2 hits with bow in. Nvm the ressistance. 1 hit + per stun is a good thing. Don't use ai on start on any tanc opponent. I'm 100% sure of that. 1st u'll have all the time in the world to use ai, 2nd it's a long fight u need the extra ++ in u'r hand. U just fuck up u'r "combo" for nothing. U'r opponent also has a lot of pdef and he also has a lot of ud's to choose from soo it's "canceled". Use ai on soft targets or on targets that hit hard at 1st. Usually that's titan and with ud's if he stays and whack u in frenzy he's dead. If not he just lost a lot of it's powerfull self buffs while u lost one and get to do u'r game. Don't really know how u can counter summoners. It's plain luck, that's all against summoners. If u land stuns and kill summons it's u'r game. Keep in mind u can always turn tha game in u'r favour if u divide summon from it's master. Try to keep in mind that summons best&faster get killed if u switch to bow. that's all.

i figured out myself how to kill dark avenger and i killed hero Dark Avenger without any problem.
that was the problem loosing too much time healing myself instead dealing as much damage as possible, anyway is not hard to kill DA but is complicated as strategy , if u ask me.

but ... i still have problems with paladins ...

i always do that, tribunal + agression enchanted on defenese (decrease p def)

not great ideea because of reflect skill. it happened to use it and to get it on me. i'm carefull since then with reflect skill classes

could be a strategy

summoner (i'm talking about good geared and pro) are hard to kill, u need some luck.

ty for ur advices and again - now my only problem seems to be VS Phoenix Knight - a pro one , i repeat
about summoners and eva saint (pro as well) i'll see at that moment, low chances to win anyway.

My opinion,PK is the best tank in oly,u can "heal" the NPC from arena by using sacrifice and u can use angelic icon,and then use a bow,not to mention heal+ when ned it,Touch of Life.
Also u have those toogle skills wich give's u some benefits,and also u have some extra defense,because u don't have too much pvp skills like SK,TK and neither dark panther like HK.
Also,on many high rate servers wich i played,PK handles thew daggerers very well(depending if the server is balanced or imbalanced).

and why is over the body + zealot + frenzy + rage banable ?

dont even try begin with AI...i read that too in another topic used it and i lost by a guy i had won 3-4 times we previously played..
1)bless body and mental shield is must
2)spam shield stun
3) against summoner stun summoner kill summon
4)against tanks play normal till 30% then use AI and ASAP use macro /target yoursealf /useskill TOL ...you could try begin with shield of faith

bullshit. Pala has same p def as DA. Also, all tanks have very similar p def, if u dont count majesty buff. (in the other hand, SK and TK got guard stance, which is >>>> majesty, but at cost of mana)
