Has anyone triple-boxed or quadra-boxed on one PC? Googled it, but with no luck.

Hi, as far as I know you can open as many clients as you want, it only depends only on your hardware. I mostly run with 2 clients, one main char and second a craft that makes shots on the background. Sometimes I have to log a buffer also. I don't think I have had more than 4 clients, fps drops are quite drammatic and loading times when teleporting increase too.. But it all depends on your hardware.

EDIT: I don't know how it works on official servers though... I play on a free C4 server.

No, by default you can open only two. The only way I know how to launch 3rd is by using walker. If it was like you said, it would give an error, but it simply won't start. And I have Dualcore, 4gb ram, and GF 6600GT. Plz don't tell me, that my sys is too low :P

So you open those two clients in windowed mode and then third one? Or you enter something in shortcut to launch the third one? Or is there anything else you do? What version of the game do you use?

indeed you can have 2 clients open for third or more you need to use walker,i dont not why maybe it somehow by passes the Game-guard.

as for hardware if you have good processor and graphics card all it matters is how much ram you have...its about 512 ram for a client to run *normal* it could go lower but you will lag too much..

Can walker be detected if I use them only for dwarfs as private shops with no scripts enabled?

you can multibox as much as clients you want but you need good hardware.
for example i can triplebox (with problems from time to time ) with my s*cky hardware and another friend can run 6 clients at a time with no problem.
so it all depends on your hardware 8)

As I said. I have excellent hardware, but I'm not able to launch third client. The server I use has its own installation. We don't use the regular l2.exe We use the one that's in SYS folder. Could this somehow cause my problem?
