-9 STR is even more stupidiers cuz you lower both your power and crit..
The best gladiator is -9DEX definetely. High HP and P.atk son of a * and your skills still have a good reuse.. don't forget you need to charge too
Also you can't +MEN.. maybe you mean +WIT -MEN? And that's not bad too with -8DEX but not much ppl really use root..

gladi can change WIT and INT only. not MEN

with - 8 dex you will have enough attack speed to spam skills and also run pretty good you also have dash skill that can make you reach target very fast
also any enemy that comes near you will prolly eat tss and dss combo which will prolly kill it
if its frenzy destro just do barrier and watch the mothafaka die
