It always depends on class and buffs tho..
I went with 78 lvl SH w/ ch buffs and mal porting with noble port in ToI.
Was easy to finish q..

But if you play retail imo it's easier to get recs with spoil and drop than ToI.

This sets are aprox.equal as dps. 1 with high matk and other with good cast speed.
But...24.7%matk from the huge matk of the sh =very good bonus
20% cast speed -from a low cast speed -it will up a bit ,but that will not make you faster than other mages -so you will be "slow" anyway;
There are more many advantages of MA vs DC - bsss consume ,more stun resistance, you can add atributes...etc.
You all say...raid boss jwls for stun...ffs you are talking about DE class...they take stun from 1'st hit w/o boss jwls ...so again MA has a very big plus !

i made it evene faster and without worries
i logged my se(ee is better but thats all i had) and a friend logged his sk
we juz lethaled the mobs
in 1 day we had nm gloves rec(wich we needed) and dc boots or something of that sort

u try to say that u cant solo with ma set without supporter?then i would ask can u do that with a dc?

mistral is pretending to be "mr know all" but he knows NOTHING ...and marios u said it by urself its the cheapest S set and its 100 p.def more without buffs not fullbuffed...maybe not 100 but 80 or so...

Yes, it's much easier, more casting = fast death, specially if you try with CDL, ofcz depents of mobs HP X ?
You got enough M.Atk, just you need more casting.

i totaly disagree
1)when u cdl u look for matk not that much for cspd
if u need 2 hits to kill a mob kkthbb to ur cdl
2)at 76+mages dont solo!spellhowlers and necros get mos pts at 70+
thats far better than soloing

even at lower lvls my sh always has demon tunic at least and if i can afford it i get mag power weapon
i tryed same mobs with karmian--->doesnt work

yes when u go farm u look for best m atk but when it's about pvp i always look for the best cast speed and this is why i choose dc

M.atk - DMG omfg... when u are good buffed ur cast is way more than enough even with MA...20 % more cast isnt like 20 % more m.atk/50 % stun ressistance/50 % less interruptions/100 p.def more...

look here naab.if u consider m.atk is so important why nobody go with mag power weapon/Ma set for pvp ? CASTING SPEED MATTERS IN PVP MORE THAN M.ATK...u will cast faster vortex/slug/surender nukes or debuffs fear/silence/slow
