btw why the hell are there more votes for DC? DC gives you high probability of casting interruption, no stun resist, worse appearance, more spiritshot usage and bad debuff land rate ...

+15% cast speed is much worse for SH as well as +17% matk for SpS

DC server on a well developed server = SHIT... MA > DC... stop listening to those suckers that say DC > MA... MA has like 3-4 + and dc has what? cast speed....

DC has:

1) easy to farm ,good
2) cheap to buy , good
3) easy to OE , good
4) casting speed , very good
5) para resist , good
6) speed , good
7) less interrupts (rumored to be aprox 20-25%) ,kinda good

MA has:

1) pretty cheap for S grade set , good
2) hard to farm tho , bad
3) some c speed , good
4) m att , good
5) stun resistance -50% , good
6) less interrupts - 50% , good
7) hard to OE, bad
can get elemental attribute stones, very good
9) speed , good

And c speed is the most important thing for mages anyway..
DC set > MA set till Gracia imo. After Gracia where c speed doesn't
influence skill reuse , MA is good.

When you have Cov + greater shield + earth song , yes difference is 100 p def. But you forget DC is quite easier to OE, and +6 DC has more p def than MA.

DC set is easy to get, any set is easy to get except mj robe and nm sets imo.
for S grade sets u must have the quest so it isnt quite easy.

I preffer droping the recs instead of doing ToI quest ,which is quite hard if u dont have party.Today i think ws the first time i did it.was damn hard reaching toi 9 for black papirus,died a couple of times;i had no party ;after i finished my buffs and i considered i had enough items, i returned to town and guess what i got??1 rec nm helm which sux, and 1 rec nm gloves.. so the toi quest isnt exactly extraordinary.

I pretty much will enjoy to see how some SH with MA farm alone without support (buffers) in some low rate C++ private server or Retail server with almost all working skills and ofcz all working mobs skills.
