Be aware someone who posted in this very thread started a thread to try and deceive you into believing dexternet is something other than what it is.
Show that you are wiser and more intelligent they they expect you to be and that you are on to their tricks:)
Don't let them have the satisfaction of thinking you will be fooled by a thread trying to claim that there are no bad points to dex, we know there are good points to it, however the bad far outstrip the good.
Servers start anew every day and there are many already in existence, you will be far better served playing on a server that has what you are looking for, a great community:)

And this post clearly proves and shows the problem with the server.
The fact that others had the same issue is proof that these server do NOT deserve the players/supporters.
Clearly people deserve better.
One cannot be a victim if one does NOT ever give in or up, you misunderstand the purpose of this thread.
If you don't care about the shoddy fool who runs the server then I feel sorry for you, one might suspect that you are so unhappy in life that you use the game as an outlet and are as cruel as the fool in charge of it and this is why you don't mind the bad leader.

i mean look at the number of players it has 5k on almost every day thats almost offi population and that means something for a private server
yeah the gms arent always fair yeah they prolly ban for no reason and other stuff like that but as long as you have fun on a server like that who cares ???

I don't have to prove dex is bad, already done and people already know.
I care, clearly and many, many other people do as well so if you don't why make an effort to get people to believe it? Why effort a post at all?

I would NOT get pissed off if someone sent me a message stating that telling people to stfo and gtfo is not a wise course of action and could cause me support, it is wise advice.
You don't know much about Canadians so I will educate a little, we are laid back, we like to point out the painfully obvious, we have incredible patience, we work hard, so hard that when we play we like to have fun, average Canadian worker is over 60 hours with many over 70.
Above all when something is wrong, no matter how many people may be in support of it, it is wrong. We have a government that is wrong, we support it in spite of it being wrong till something better comes along, that should be more then proof enough that we let things slide.
Does it mean we don't point out how wrogn it is often? Hell's NO.

Telling your customer base to stfu and gtfo is NOT EVER acceptable,.
When your business is down for 13 hours and only after 12 hours do peopel ask "what's goign on" should tell you that you have some really awesome peopel playing on your server and they they support you in a big fashion because they waiting for over 12 hours on the 2nd day of a 13 hour down time before asking questions.
It is NOT EVER acceptable to tell anyone stfu or gtfo.
Supporting someone who would do this regularly is just as reprehensible as the fool founder for doing it.

You added to it to keep it going so asking for it to be closed just proves to the readers you fear too many will learn and leave the server.

And FTR I don't believe everyone will leave, I don't think more then about 25% will leave, nor do I believe the server will close, is far too popular with the pkers and pvpers.

Informing the people is and was my only goal and with the help of people like you I have done so.
I again thank you for your efforts it is actions like that, that chase away more people then my simple post ever could have alone.

As for your "shame on me" comment, better recheck your supposition dude, the jury sniggered at it because of all the errors you make leading up to it.

Fact 1) People have already left, thank you very much
Fact 2) More people will leave once a new server opens up its' 7x rate one
not huge numbers by any stretch but enough to make the new server rock
Fact 3) What you continually say is out right wrong or an outright lie so what it is you actually expect? I loathe liars and I think the readers do as well
Fact 4) The only one possibly crying here is you, because you cannot bully here
Fact 5) Far more, and I mean FAR FAR FAR more people support me then the 5 or 6 that try to lie and turn the message into something different
Fact 6) the readers are far smarter then you give them credit for

I could easily make another 20 facts however real life/battletech calls and I find that it isn't worth the full effort to continually try and educate you.

You are in error in your attempted "summation" of what the message is, in part.
Dex is bad, it is why people have left and why more people will leave and why people are not joining as readily as they did in the past.
Look at the number of people that have viewed the post and then lets low ball the numbers and say only 15% of the readers will not join dexternet now.
My goal achieved, the message has gotten out and some have understood it and accepted in.
So you in fact missed the point, again.
You keep trying to attribute to the post actions and meaning far, far beyond the scope of the post.

Ok this is a bit silly,

First off: Someone makes a statement that the server is bad because of various facts and argues in a very good way for his cause.

Secondly: A number of other starts saying stuff about how stupid the first one is because they can't argue against the facts and therefor the comments about his intellect.

Third: More facts comes into the discussion and so far nothing more the personal opinions stands as a positive for the servers.



To turn a discussion the other way around you have to counter with a fact with a fact like: "The server is one of the biggest private servers around", which means it's a good server. That would be a fact, even if it's a bad one.



Personal opinion:
I've played on both servers and i didn't like them much at all, wierd economy and the GMs won't let some players state their opinion on the forum, which doesn't suit my style of playing.

It'sd clearly not the worst but it's neither among the good ones.
