The stones (fire ,earth ,dark etc) can be exchanged at the atribute master npc in Rune . So if you have 30 fire stones you can trade them for 30 water stones. Same for earth...you can trade them for wind stones etc.
You can enchant your weapon/armour by adding a lot of this stones.
Atribute enchanting provides elemental power or elemental resistance.

Now about that seeds ....
You have to collect a lot of them ( all colours) and you can trade them for all kind of S80 recipes and parts.
This is not a quest that requires to do something special....just kill the mobs...make the seeds and go in the middle of the Island of Prayer , mount that bridge...and up you will find Blacksmith Loham or something(don't remember exacly his name).
You can trade the seeds for recipes/parts .
It's kinda hard because you will need tones of yellow/red/green/blue and only few black/white...
This "quest" requires too much time... :(
Well....if you wanna try....good luck !

U can trade just the opposing pairs to each other (fire-water, wind-earth, holy-dark)
And if u apply a stone to an armor, it gives resistance against the opposing element - so if u put a fire stone on a S armor, u'll get some %s of water resistance. Also, its not confirmed but i heard that in attribute resistance section on character status page every number measures 1 percent of resistance for the element. For example, arcane roar lv78 passive skill increases elemental resistance, and it gives 3 points to all elementals there. It shall be 3% to all - so u can boost it up with those stones, u will feel the difference i suppose...

i doesnt only gives the resistance .. the atribute means that it gives more def if some1 atacks u by the same element but it decreases def of some1 atacks u with the oposite element

example : u enchant ur armor with fire
a promineance makes u less dmg
but a hydro blast makes u more dmg

but u can enchant every part of the armor with the element that u want my advice is to enchant it with fire water and wind (dont enchant with earth useless )

complety wrong....a water attack will do less damage and a fire attack will do the same damage...

if u enchant armor with water stone it give resistents to fire ...in this case a proeminence will do less damage

Actualy your advice is so wrong.
I do reccomend you to enchant at least 2 pieces of armour with earth... cuz it gives wind resistance !!!
My main is Sh so earth stones are perfect for me cuz the only mage that can make me some troubles is another Sh....so wind resistance ftw !
