i want your oppinion about sk in pvp
(i know there are some topics about it and sorry for making a new but i didnt found the info i wanted) i have some concerns about his hp and his survivability...also lighting strike has good land rate?
last for pvp i found that +4con-4str is the best and nightmare +focus but do i need a 2nd armor to land my debuffs in pvp? i play in X7 server (l2 elixir) and main is spoiler so money is not any of my concerns...
also banish seraph is great for xp..where is a good place that i can lvl-up quick using it at 55+? TY all in advance!

My two cents:

The sk is the best solo tank, because has the best dps of the tanks and some nice "tricks": hex and power brake are a must, the drain and freezing strike are ok, but the lightning strike is overated, because his landing rate REALLY SUCKS!
On top of all this 2nd best shield def rate and shield def from all directions.
Only 2 real disadvantages of a sk: low con (compared to other tanks) that makes him more vulnerable to stuns.
The best armor to you, on a grade is majestic, because nm gaves penalisation on dex and the shield bonus of nm is irrelevant to you (though nm is the best armor to da).
About dyes... DONT USE THEM: or you drop your str (very bad to pvp and to mantain aggro) or you drop dex (bye shield def rate, bye atack speed, bye speed) or you drop con (even weaker and bigger stun-magnet).

Lightning Strike lands ok if you use a magic Power SoM.

You are right Vawned, but the problem of Lightning Strike is more deeper than that:
- 10% rate of sucess
- long cooldown
Its maybe good to toss in a mass pvp or against a mob, but agains t a live player its quite random in chance to be sucesseful.

No, not tk. Or at least the tk without attractive cubic. It's silly to get 1-2 mobs rooted during the train.
Imo, the sk is as good as tk in trains, but can do far more in pvp, so it's more worth it.

don't know on wich server u play but on offie, my lightning strike land more than 80% of time on any mob
and 1/2.5 in pvp (up to 70% against self buffed in pvp)
and LS make damages so a Som MP + empo3 + zerk2 is really good with LS

te problem with the SK is that he really need all buff (mage and mellee buff) to be able to use all his power.

LS lands alot vs mobs but in 1on1 pvp, where both players usually have pp buffs, which includes mental shield i don't bother with the LS.
Just freezing from the start and PB, then hex and start fighting, sting land + poison cubic = owned.
if some1 gets you to half HP just arrest, back off, equip m.atk weapon and drain a few times, it'll knock his socks off and you'll have a nice amount of HP back, also redo the hex and pb whenever you have distance.
SK is my fav char, it can kill any char on any buffs if you know how to play.
And ofc those archers that think they're imba will just cry when they encounter you ^^.
