Hi there. Its been a while to level up my archer character. I'm planning to buy an A grade armor set. Now I would like to ask what would be best and the pros and cons of each.

They usually say that Majestic light is best for archer for the +8% P. atk. But I am also looking at the armor that gives +atk speed since archer really hit slow. One that I see is the Dark crystal light which is only +4% or wearing a Tallum heavy which is +8%.

i would preffer mj light. because you are not mage, and you don't need to atack very fast because you atacks can be interupted. if you will choose tallum heavy you will kill mob in the same time like with mj light, but you will faster loose shots and arrows, so it is more eficient mj light. well about dc, you can try, but mj have more pdef. AND ofcourse, mj gives you stun resist which is very usefull in pvp

I wouldn't go for tallum heavy, since it's not light and after lvl 61+ light armory mastery makes sense, not to mention that evasion smetimes can be useful. DC light has lower pdef, but I'd go for atk spd, the faster your stun shot is, the better your chance is in pvp imo.

Looking at your avatar I think you are a Phantom Ranger, this means Majestic is a must! Don't even think for other sets, especially if you dont have zaken

For pvp: SR---> Majestic Light
PR---> Majestic Light
HE---> I don't know, but i doesn't even care.

For pve, i think tallum is good, but it is only a theory, i need to lvl up my bishop to 75, and then i will test archers

i prefer atk.speed set like dc light / draco light / tall hvy + slow bows becuz u hav a better dps and in pvp a faster re-use for stun/double shot

I always go for best bang per shot. So +patk set. For pve, +patk without a doubt.

On pvp you COULD use a tallum. If you have a draconic go ahead and use it. You won't be dissapointed. But watch out for stuns. Sr, pr and he with -5 con (common dye setup) are all stun magnets.

4% to reuse delay and casting time is mega imba:(((dc ftw

archers dont cast skills they arent nukers

casting does not only apply for magical skills
it applies to all skills
u have nice animations around u when doing smth u r casting

Many Archers have Tallum heavy but i prefer mj light too. Stun resist is always good. And when (if) you will have epics later, draconic leather due to P.def.

Actually casting can be the cast of a skill... I use that term too. How the hell are you supposed to say? 'making the skill' or 'casting'? Simplicity...
