comparing dmg per HIT between a dagger and a bow ( for example) is stupid.

example

dph for a bow= 1000
dph for a dagger= 300

that gives u nothing. ( i hope u agree with this)
we need another factor to tell witch weapon is better (for examle for a wc, doesnt matter)

that factor would be hits per second.

example
hits per second for a dagger = 4
hits per second for a bow = 1

now we can calculate witch weapon is better for our wc. i didnt mention misses and criticals - since crit rate for a bow and a dagger is the same we can forget about it (same with accuracy)

dps for a bow= 1000 ------ 1000 * 1
dps for a dagger = 1200 ------ 300 * 4

so now we know that our wc has better dps with dagger. ( this weapon is better).

conclusion

dps is a factor wich shows witch weapon is better. we can compare any kind of a weapon. no matter atk speed since we are calculating dmg given in one second.

Indead l2calc show's that the dps is much better with SB but i am very sorry to say i won't trade that damage for 177 attack speed . The faster you hit the higher chance of giveing a critical crit occurs and you can recover very fast from a miss . I did this test on a lvl 80 Sr no Dye and all self buffs / buffs for attack speed . So even if l2calc say that SB has better dps i still don't agree with it .. you never hit 100% so there are other factors . The main thing that boders me is that you can't kite well with SB and you can't make that little step in some direction so you can have +evasion and higher re-load . Overall Sb sux and it's not only me who say this facts speack as well , look on retail and you will see no one useing SB now , when it first came out yeah all of them used it but not now coz it's like haveing root .. Even more if we talk about PvE Carnage ManaUp is sweet because if you have pp buffs and some Bd with you your Mp will fly real fast , as for PvP you need to deal a lot of dmg very fast , we all know when we pray for a crit to come and it dosen't come intead it come's some miss so this would not be nice in PvP . Anyway this is my last post in this topic because it's pointless , some ppl like that SB some Carnage ...

btwi agree with gr3k , the bop qr is better cuz of the highest atk.spd and for overenchanting

A grade, if it's interlude, try getting sheed's bow but is almost the same effort as crafting DB so i don't see the point

BoP(QR)=best bow for pvp...make it +16 and it will be better then daraconic and u always will hit first

It's not a waste of money.. i don't think u'll love to lvl with B grades , when u can craft Soul Bow.
CB is a waste, but SB no is not.

Soul Bow + 0 + CS > BOP + 10 + QR in PvE.
BOP + 10 + QR > Soul Bow + QR + 3 in PvP.




Or be4 u make those quests , there's always an event called Trick Or Transmutation Event where u can get u're Shyeed's Bow with a bit of luck and some farming or being a good merchant

Between carn and SB I prefer carnage... If u ask me genarally BoP QR... very good

carnage and soulbow go on the same thing . soulbow make more dmg , an dcarnage make smaler dmg but have a much bigger ak speed ! and there is no that shit WHAT IS BETHER , use bow that is good for your class , bow that balance your class , and its good for PVP style you play .(like hit and run )
there are thing-s where carnage is bether and where soulbow is bether . if you go pvp VS dager , o tank you would use carnage coz you dont need lot of time to stand before shot arrow .
