There is no difference between Classes because of that superb class balance L2 has. OFC if it is a private server things change because of crucial things like Mana Potions, Custom Buffers. You don't have to ask on forum which class is better unless you want to hear super funny replies from n00bz...The best class is the one YOU play the best with (it is highly reccommended to play with all classes before choosing the one most suitable for you).
Try choosing a good, balanced server for the best gameplay (i reccommend you to play on low rate servers to see what L2 is)

As you can see...in L2, WoW...producers keep releasing patches to improve their gameplay.
Blizzard did an extremly good job on Starcraft where 3 races are PERFECTLY BALANCED. In L2 producers have to do a lot more work because of all these races and their classes...A private server admin tries (i hope) to reduce the class difference made by changing the server rates too much.

I agree. Tyrant is good. But every class has something that makes it cool ( except TK maybe, but this class is so hmmmm... rare, that i had to try it XD )

TK has thhe highest p def and shield def in this game, while it has skills like arrest and tribunal, ud vengeance and a 15 sec able to move ud added at T1 and heal, entagle and 3 cubics, shield bash and ToL...

But I agree with Zmeu it mostly depends on the player...

eg. You can't play a dagger if you have slow fingers, can u?
You can't play a gladi / tyrant if can't think of good combos...
You can't play a tank if you don't think logically....

and u can play well an archer even if u are retarded!!!!111111

Actually tk is eclipsed by the sk. That's why it's a rare class. Sk has the same pdef, but 1% less shield block rate. Tk is a better choice sometimes though. That cubic can heal a party member.

SK can't tank afk... he doesn't have attractive cubic

It can be useful in radical situations . Like... healer dead... healer manaless... healer cant heal 800 ppl the same time, sometimes pt heal is not the best choice eh

more! the cubic can heal a party member, and it has no range limit. It means u can have ur TK/ES in talking island and have a party member (possibly ur dual boxed char) lvling at FG and the cubic will heal u!


anyway, I rly agree on this, the player makes the char, not the other way around, although equipments and a good computer/net also help, but even some players with bad equips can beat great equiped chars. I think Ive seen everything in L2, I saw D grades beating S grades (its frapsed), one B grade beating a full A/S party, low lvls beating high lvls (a lot higher), healers beating destros to death without soulshots, everything
