Well i am happy to see this topic.
I planned to buy a nostromo and special mouse for pvp reasons.

Please share your experience with me concerning this stuffs.
I heard nostromo can run macros at hardware side so you can do anything in combat while the gamepad spam the cp pots continuously.

I saw the pics about it.
There is 16 buttons in 4X4 rows and columns. Can i use them all.
Can i use 16 buttons with 16 skills on it instead of 12? F1-F12?

How is it working how to steup them so on .....
My friend told me they tried xbox or something similar gamepad with L2 and when they logged in they didnt see the 3X12 quickbars, but they saw the new user interface with the look of up down .... arrows and few buttons in circle like this conzol controllers looks like in real. L2 automatically reconfigured the ui to the new controller.

So any experience about nostromo?
I wanna use that and what special mouse would you recommend for l2?

Nostromo is only usefull when u play dagger imo...
All others are pretty much 1-2-3 max button or skill chain users.
On dagger u can't afford to lose a finger for CP tho...
Since u have to have 1 hand on mouse always.

On my SH/EE/HE/BD nostromo useful-ness was close to 0.
It's good to put dance/buff/recharge macros for hours and go partly afk
But for PvP , it don't help much. Not to mention if u forget it on, BB CP. :p

And, on nostromo u can put an L2 key or an L2 macro. Like that...




You can put either single key or a key with some x delay etc. Or multiple keys with delay but pff...

Anyway, i advise u not to waste ur money on this toy xD
But if you do take it for L2, make sure to buy/order NOSTROMO N52
and NOT NOSTROMO N52te, cuz it has issues with L2 and u'd have to make
modifications etc, and it's nerve racking.

So then i think this tool is designed for me
Sometimes its hard ass to push everything while focusing where to run what to do?
Its hard to focus what skill to use because i play on a notebook and the keys are close to each other in a row, but the distance is high from F1-F12.
Therefore i need to look down to keyboard and see the button what to push down. Meanwhile i can miss 2 blows and its great waste.

Its not so expensive but the advantage for me to push every button with one hand its unpayable

So you say if i buy not this improved one, but the old simple NOSTROMO N52 i can easily plugin to notebook and use it?
L2 will use this instead of the notebook's own built in keyboard?

Let me ask 2 more questions pls
Is it really true i can drink cp pots continuously without breaking any action unlike the l2 macros works?
Am i able to turn this macro on with a button at the start of battle and turn it off at the end?
Can i switch between bars?
Lets say there is 10 times 12 quick bars. 12 quick bar can be remapped instead of F1-F12 on nostromo buttons.
Can i configure the scroll on nostromo to change the bars between 1 and 10?
then i could use all my 3 bars without clicking with the mouse on my skills and spots
i could switch between bars and push the buttons 120 posoble actions in 12 buttons OMG

and 1 more the old nostromo n52 the orange/gray colored isnt it?

Yes, nostromo macro doesnt stop when actions are taken.
About changing bars with mouse, ionno if it's possible.

And yes N52 is gray/black/orange. Says N52 on the side anyway
N52te is blue/black afair.

And since u play on notebook, nostromo will be helpful anyway

Yes u can spend money for lame gamepad or just make script for AHK. I made script even for my dualboxed BD that when I invite him he automatically accept's invitation , dances , double clicks for following and leaves pt(2nd pc). My future plans is to make script for auto spoiler (this how no bot-keylogged program is required and it's seek-free).

No, it's a good mouse. I'd go for a razer tarantulla too.

If only l2 ingame macros wouldn't stop when actions are taken.
