the kitty will wo0p ur ass with its high pat and atk spd and same time the summoner may cast debuffs like banes and discruption..the summoner may support himself with a profecy while a mage cant...
imagine u both have ch buffs but the kat has pof and ur mage has now pow..

If you have PoW and the cat has Pof , u'll kill it 5 hits.
Cuz as a SH with ch buffs + pow + arcane power u'll have 3,5k m att and 1k+ casting. Not to mention that if you go for pvp, u'll prolly have mal.

Don't tell me u'll have troubles killing 8k HP on 600 m def with 3,5k m att lol
Same if it's lower lvl pvp, will end up the same way.
Not to mention that if you slow the cat (which already has pof) it will never reach u till summoner cures it. Enough time to rape the cat lol

and in that case (if u go find a buffer) the summoner may find a buffer 2!and will get for example greater might lv 2!

2 his speed is bigger then you and with that patk and attack speed he can really hurt you unless you have summon on that is already betrayed

3 the summoner has heales and debuffs plus some cubics that rock
4 summoners are very hard to kill even with a nuker if they know how to play its like a 2 vs 1 and people rarly manage to win these fights if there equaly skiled

Ok, did a lil test with the help of an AL from my clan.

Kai w/ magic barrier has 650 m def and my hurricane does 1350 dmg to him. Means 1992 m att vs 650 m def = 1350 dmg,
When i surrender it i do 1760 dmg. When it has cov i do 1466 dmg
1760 when surender and vortex have landed on CoVed kai.
CoVed Kai has 777 m def btw....

So don't tell me summoner has ANY chance in fair 1 vs 1 vs nuker lol.
Gank is another thing btw.

And, now we tried real pvp for fun :p
He got pp buffs (no zerk) on kai and he coved it.
Sent it to me. It died while doing ONLY 1 hit to me.

Now we tried again, he got buffs from PP too.
He did 1k dmg total to me.

Still, betray cast is pretty fast, the delay is low and the chance is very high especially vs necro summons(panther, golem too)
It's another advantage of the Warlock, will you prefer to get hit by another pet or just dont use it?

Do you know why they lowered the pet's dmg in PvP? Because summoners were too strong! And if you play on L2 Light where you have 5 rows of buffs, yeah, summoner sucks..
But if you play normal server with only CH buffs and maybe sometimes songs n dances which is really rare and then it means its not even 1v1 anymore..
Warlock will use just 2 skills - Betray and Arcane Disruption (no mage bane as I understood its 70+, next thing he will heal his cat you probably hitted him once or twice.. and now you have lowered cast and ur pet hitting.. why dont u get it?! It's the best for you not to use ur summon! Relay on nukes and curses, thats it!
