Hi i have 2 questions for hawkeye ...first of all what are the best dye's for him and second when pvp-ing a dagger class with is the best strategy ? to stay still use snipe and hit ..or to try and kite but risk to show your back to him. Also does useing different strategies affects what dye's u should use ? thx

HE can't kite.
+5 Wit -7 Int on dyes imo.

lets say ure 78 and fight starts from a distance and ure self buffed

for aw/pw

dont snipe at the beggning, use hamstring shot, if it lands fight is over, just kite him

if it wont land use snipe, stun, lethal, double shot and dont let him get on ur back

because of dash u need to snipe at the beggning and the rest is same as for aw/pw

If you're on Snipe mode you'll not try lethal or double, only stun and normal hits. You get more Critical Chance with Snipe.

without hawk eye use skills and remember any archers life in pvp are cp potions , you have many chances vs a dagger just because you are range

You have to putt attack on f1 and CP on f2. Then u press them.

as for dyes +5 str - 5 con

as for pvp : snipe at begining.if the oponent is too close try to stun him.. if stun land disarm weapon to turn off snipe and run away (this is just for oly/selfbuff fights) in mass pvp with full buff i cant really tell u ..its just chaos

Unequiping weapon doesn't remove snipe. That's in L2Brazil servers

+5str -5con ... u shure thats the best ? no +dex dye's at all ? ... i was thinking more +4str -4 con / +3dex -3con / +2dex -2con

Kids, it goes like this.

WIT for root resist (ofc it wont help vs dagger, but he asked general dyes)
The -7 INT come from +4 WIT -5 INT, +1 WIT -2 INT

Dont lower CON on HE, u will lose too much HP/P.def/stun resist (very important, if u get stuned its normaly the end for u). Well, u can put +4 STR -4 CON and thats fine if u have a +6 set or if u get a healer.

Normal snipe isnt supposed to go off when u unequip bow, it doesnt require a bow. L2J servers (some) have a custom snipe so u can use snipe vs every enemy.
HE cant kite cos he has too low speed, even with all speed buffs he wont be as fast as a PW/AW or TH on dash, and if u get cov (like most HEs) u'll be even slower.


@topic: +5WIT -7INT, +4STR -4CON (if u have some +++ items) or -4DEX (still, I dont recommend neither)

vs dagger u should use snipe since u cant kite, hit hit hit, when he gets close use stun, keep hitting nomatter what, hope for crits. If ur HP starts to drop like mad hit UE, if he does the same use skills and hope to make some good damage, and thats basically it. Just hope for crits, hope not to miss, hope that he misses, hope for no crits on blows (those will hurt u, REALLY) and keep ur finger on the CP pot button (pressed)

its stupid to active hewkeye in pvp and snipe too...remeber that enemy can run and u will imobilized...snipe is good only in small chambers and arenas vs nukers other archers or only in pve....AND HE CAN KITE VERY WELL....u need just +5 dex lowering ur con after all u hav cp pots u dont need a huge amount of cp/hp..-con dont means - pdef...snipe dont worn off when u remove weapon(on a decent server)
