i found this quest in the quest list in the map menu. can someone tell me where to find the npc with whom i need to talk to start the quest?. on my server at the location it says "none".this means there's no such quest on the server? tks. and if someone know what is the quest about more exactly, please post. thanks

Well this quest is to get cry 1-13 (blue, red, green). If i am correct u start the quest in giran in magic guild, i think its the high magician (dont know his name).

yes, u talk to the grand magister in giran's mystic guild. U can chose a soul crystal of any colour and it wil be lvl 1. U dont need to do anything else, now u go lvl ur crystal (u must have ur quest active - DONT cancel it). Put the lvl 1 crystal in ur bar, and kill mobs on the quest list (a list that shows all mobs that can lvl the crystal). While u are killing them, once u take half of the mob's HP, use the crystal (double click on ur inventory or click it on ur hot bar), it costs some MP and it has an animation like a drain. Then kill the mob, and a message will appear saying if u succeeded or not. When u succeed, the soul crystal will disappear, and u earn a new one, 1 lvl higher. When it fails, it can either break or stay in ur inventory, its a matter of luck.

Also note that u must have only ONE soul crystal in ur inventory, or it will NOT WORK. U can bring a lot of crystals with u, but when u get to the place, drop them on the ground and stay with only one.

From Interlude and higher chronicles, u can buy soul crystals from stage (lvl) 7 to lvl 10 (all colours). Note that low C weapons still need lvl 5 and lvl 6 crystals for SA.

You take the quest from :
1. Grand Magister - Magic Guild Giran or
2. A magister in the right in magic guild Aden.

You can't take a crystal if you already have one in inventory; So drop your crystal from inventory and choose another one and so.

Since C5 (Oath Of Blood) Prestigious Item Hall from Giran is renamed Luxury Shop and sells lvl 7-10 soul crystals.

You need these crystals to enhance you weapon(SA : Special Ability);
For example you need one Homunkulus's Sword , 306 gemstones C and Red Soul Crystal lvl 7 to make Homu + Acumen.
Another example is Dark Screamer , 306 gemstones C and Green Soul Crystal lvl 7; Result -> Dark Screamer + Focus.
Blacksmiths and BOMs ( Blacksmith of Mammon) are the ones who will put SA's on your weapons.

How do you lvl soul crystals.
1'st : you need quest, don't abort it;
2'nd : you need only one soul crystal in inventory;
3'rd : you need to use soul crystal on mob when he have half of hp or less.
After he dies , there's a chance for the crystal to broke, there's a chance for the crystal to remain the same, or there's a chance for the crystal to lvl up.
These steps you need to follow only if you have lvl 9 crystal or less. (lvl 1-10)

Now for lvl 10 crystals + you need to follow these steps:
1'st : you need quest, don't abort it;
2'nd : you need only one soul crystal in inventory;
3'rd : These crystals can be leveled only on some raid bosses; You need to be in that party who does last hit. There's a chance for the crystal to lvl up or there's a chance for the crystal to remain the same.
Some RB'ses like Lilith/Anakim or epic bosses have 100% chance to lvl your party crystals, all 9 of them if each one of your party members have one crystal with them.
