I guess I had many noob stories cause I had none to show me how things happen in the world of L2, so I had to discover the truth from my own nasty experience. I remember though one moment when I was leveling my BH and reached 40lvl. I know english and had no problem with quest but I had to get a C grade blunt weapon. So I have heared that low C grade is bought from Luxury shop in Giran and also that if I want top C grade I have to go to Blacksmith of Mammon and swap my low+some AA for top(Yaksa Mace). So far so good but when I went in luxury shop I saw two blunt weapons there. Of course I choose the cheaper one thinking it doesnt matter cause I will swap it anyway. Than I found BS Mammon and was very surprised when he offerd me not the Yaksa Mace but some Dwarven Battlehammer or something like that. Maybe that doesn't seem noob enough for you BUT I accepted the deal and than I fought with Battlehammer quite some time to collect AA again hoping this time I will get the Yaksa. I found BS mammon again and when I saw that this time he actually offers me the other weapon in the luxury shop which I didn't take for it was more expensive back then (War Axe) I was pissed off by my greedy ass. I upgraded to War Axe put it SA Anger and this was my wpn until 56lvl when I finally made AOBA. This shit story took from me the pleasure from playing with top weapon from lvl 40 and thought me that cheaper now sometimes could be expensive later.

Better than becoming a palus knight at lvl 52.

well my 1st noob story...1st time I played l2 I was human fighter with top ng and I was killing elpies till lvl 10 ...I was just so afraid going far away from the village ...(found map at lvl 29 )...so till lvl 23 I was fighting skeletons in elven ruins (lvl 10),I was so imba...then my fr said I should go try ruins of despair...so I went there and wtf I said to myself wtf what a big fucking zombie omfg if it see me I am dead...then imp killed me...well I found mobs(ratmans 20 lvl) and I lvled there till 28,then went execution grounds...damn I was full NG/lesser healing pots/I had to rest after every mob I kill...anyway at 40 lvl I had tsurugi and I was so imba...but omfg DA quest seems to be bugged??? I didnt know that I can go under ivory tower so I died like 10 times there,while searching the mobs I need,I even went to forest of outlaw ...after that I learned very fast about the game...I gotta tell u that my sister was talking to NPCs in dwarven village-the guy that asks "have you seen ....",and my sister was even screaming infront of the comp - NO omfg fucking retard...and she told me omg bro look this fucking retard I told him like 20 times and he still asks

One time at a mid-rate server, a guy from my clan came in my party. He was SH, I asked him lvl and he said 78. I asked why he didnt change class (it was free ofc) and he said "the quest is rly boring I'll try to make some S grade first", he didnt knew about class changer, he did all the quests for SH, then I asked him for how long he played L2, he said 2 days. I was like WTF? "go to this site: www.lineage2.com and learn about game and play a low rate" and he came like "lol those servers are too boring, can u believe I played for 10 minutes and I did only lvl 4????"
At this time, he was in my party but not near me. When he came near me LOL he was in theca leather and bop. I lol'ed so hard and I explained him, he said "damn this bow looked so cool on me".

and like him, I find many noob in mid/high rates, where u will learn nothing, on those server everything's custom and I think every player should start at x1 (retail specialy), so they will see the real l2, and then if they go to higher rates (x4, x7, x10, x500) they will think "omg this is so fast!!!!!11!!11!), with me it was the oposite, reason why I never liked low rates a lot, I got used to high rate since it was my first server, its sad

i totally agree...btw i like the donators from high rate...they just donate for full armor/weapon, epic+30 or even higher bla bla bla...and when it comes to olympiad they all lose cuz they can't play a fking char...

Me and some of my friends decided to start playing Lineage 2 (our first MMO btw), we ended up at L2 Escape, which was C2, x5 or something, cant remember exactly.
i inmediatly figured out what ss were cuz weapon desciption shows: consumes x soulshots.
And since no grade soulshots were in the grocery store, I thought, lets see what this does, and i bought em and clicked em and PSHW weapon uber glow and dmg. I was a human fighter and after a few tests with spiritshots i figured out they didnt do anything for me.

i did realize i had to find stronger mobs while i lvld up, so i just ran further away from town to find them.
A friend of mine told me i had to do a class change quest at lvl 20, so i did that inmediatly aswell. Seeing a NPC with "Gatekeeper" above its head made me click it and thus teleporting between towns made the quest less boring :p.
I never left TI to lvl before that anyway.

Somehow i was convinced using 2 healing pots real fast made them heal faster, so I kept wasting pots and thus adena.
So all good and nothing bad happened to me yet, then i reached lvl 35, did my quest, lvl 37, did 2nd quest, lvl 39 did 3rd quest, lvl 40... WTH i cant choose Bladedancer??? OMG i wanted bladedancer damnit!
Dang, well i geuss ill take gladiator then...

then at like lvl 45 i saw a hatchling, and i just HAD to have one, so i asked this guy where he got it and he told me bout the quest, and thus i did the quest and got my hatchling after dieing countless times running (in C2 u couldnt port to north EV from hunters) to fairy mymyu (or something).

So i got my hatchling, and i went to find some lvl 35 mobs (cuz the hatch was lvl 35) and made it attack them... it died in 2 hits.
"Ofcourse" i thought, "it needs equipment", so i went to giran, found the pet manager and saw the best equip costed a total of 2kk, which was all I had back then, and i was still running around in dual bastard swords and some D/no grade armor mix, I was saving for C grade duals.

So i was pondering on wether or not to spend my 2kk on hatch equip or save it for C grade duals, i ended up buying the hatch equip.
So back to EG, lvl 35-ish mobs, i made it attack and... even with that expensive equip it died in 3 hits, dropping its armor and weapon and ofcourse this random guy had to be close to my hatch and pick it up.
This pissed me off (duh) and i attacked the guy, which was a mage, and he 2 shotted me cuz i had no jewelry ><.
So i ended up in low d grade equip, no jewelry, d grade duals and 100k adena in my inv at lvl 47.

I RageQuitted

a few months later i started on L2Extreme's Staris (x7) server with a DE fighter, at lvl 40 (SK) i made a crafter and spoiler and spoiled all mats and recipes (bought nothing), and made myself a full plate set + sls for my SK.
So lvling went smooth cuz of my cool equip, at lvl 52 i sold my equip and used my crafter to drop all doom recs and a damascus rec (which is HELL).
I refused to play my main char without having top equip for its lvl.
So using the adena from my sold FP set and sls i bought lots of mats and completed my doom set and damascus, i lvld a SC to stage 10 (with my crafter) and there i had the best equip for my SK .
So i'm lvling with my uber gear which i'm rly proud off and i run into a bunch of clanned people. I start a conversation with them and they inv me to their party, after some nice lvling at cruma lvl 2 they invite me to their clan, and i accept.

A few days later we had a really cool party and we all went to LoA (which was the only high lvling ground back then), and we were really on a roll and decided to go deeper, we crossed the famous bridge and had trouble staying alive in there becouse of the fast respawn rate.

So after like 10 mins we couldnt take them anymore and as a tank i decided to take the fall for my clan and i UD'd and kept aggro and every1 soe'd.
Then i died and dropped my doom plate armor, this dagger dude on silent move came along and stole it... bastard .
after that we swapped servers (not becuz i lost my armor ) and I've played L2 with these people ever since, they're real good friends now, they're like distant family .

Geuss i never made any huge mistakes and just had some bad luck back then.
But i had a great time.

Well, when i started l2 about 2 years ago all i new about l2 from some friends is that the game is so adictive, u can go and play for hours!!! heh, i said, i wanna see that. so i started playing with a human mage, but when i saw the fagg in g@y pajamas i started to laugh. i played just 10 min iwth human mystic untill i say a big orc in a white pointy armor and a big glowing awesome sword( he was wearing mj heavy with dragon grinder OE, but i did not know that then) and i said: WOW!!!! I WANNA BE JUST LIKE HIM!!!!!!! >:) !!!!! so i started to play with orc fighter. i played About 2 days nonstop with no food and only a bottle of water. after i reached to lvl 30 ( !!!! i was using the unstuck skill to tp) i learnd abouty shots. so i went iand baught the shots that seemed the best for me. SPIRIT SHOTS NO GRADE FOR D WEP!!! XD
after i learnd how to use shots, i didn't know that u can toggle them so.... U can imagine how nasty cramps i got for pushing F12 continuosly for 3-4 hours ! >)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) i waslike "HULK SMASH!!!!"

but still, those were the best times in l2, when i was making party with other 3-4 destros and went on suicide missions in Anthy cave!!!! we loved the times when we were all on the floor, and talking one to eachother!!!! ah, the good ol' times )) then i was making party only with orcs. once a dwarf wanted to join aour party but we were all telling him :" sorry, no hobbits alound" XD

Ok first time i ever play l2 its in Dragon x15 I wanted to be buffer and a fr explaind what it was.
So i went on to level in the beginig with the gremlins i kill htem with the club cuz i though since im buffer i cant use skills so it was hard geting lvl 5 after that had some adena and i bought that cheapest bow (cuz again i thought i couldnt use skilss ) it was hard going to level 45 wihouth skills and wihtouth party.So my fr came asked me how im doing in the game and i said it was hard then he explaind what skills are cuz i didnt even had buffs back then it was a noobish time
