They had great files, active admins, nice EU community which did stand for the server. Admins implemented many things that made game simply better like Epics pvp no pk zones and no relogs in certain zones. They banned RMT and bots well.

They had some flaws too, some ruskies had easy mode with admins. Some RMT ruskies didnt want changes that made their life harder.

Anyway elmores mistake was launching second similar server that died early and divided player base by 2. Later they updated to interlude which 80% od players didnt want. And it went downhill.

I would give my first born for good files. Tired of playing on the buggy version from 6 years ago :)

Hah  But to be honest, personally I was never quite able to tell a server with good files apart from the one with bad ones. Were there some specific main issues that you encountered on the servers with the bad files?

Its easy to tell, geodata, macros etc etc

It's true, the broken macros were always annoying, especially when you made one for switching equips and it couldn't register more than 1 line. As for the geodata, well... I have a fond memories of jumping on the roof of the temple in Dion from the steep hill behind it, not sure if that's a sign of good or bad geodata though
