It was a pvp server where you buy things with kills, it was usually team vs team on two sides, mostly in elven village i think was the hub.
You bought items and leveled up beyond the base, with the kills too I think.

I think you talk about that Hellbound GvE server wich was great,infinitel2 but it doesnt exist for a long time
Now it is something similar called l2ovc https://l2ovc.com/
they are opening a classic-kamael version on 7 july but usually they are an interlude client wich is way better than classic/high five
go and try the beta wich is still running till 26 June,you can kill there some bots to test it out
