L2Etina is about to launch once again! We will try to provide terrific gameplay and stable server, that you u can enjoy for at least a year.

Grand Opening will take place at 20:00 GMT+1, but you can already login and create your character. Before opening, you are able to create only 1 character on your PC and chat in game with other players.

Few of our features will be enabled after a few weeks or months. We hope this will allow everybody to play the game at a slower pace, without a feeling of missing out.

You will be able to join Seven Signs & collect Seal Stones since opening, but the first Validation Period will begin on December 27th.

Queen Ant, Core & Orfen will be alive on opening, while other epics have specific respawn dates:

Zaken will spawn on January 14th, 20:00-22:00 GMT+1
Baium will spawn on January 16th, 20:00-22:00 GMT+1
Frintezza will spawn on March 12th, 20:00-22:00 GMT+1
Antharas will spawn on April 3rd, 20:00-22:00 GMT+1
Valakas will spawn on April 24th, 20:00-22:00 GMT+1

The first olympiad competitions will begin on March 17th, while the first Heroes along with Cursed Weapons will appear on April 1st.

Castle Sieges will take place every 2 weeks. Only 4 castle sieges will be enabled for now, while more can be added later:

Rune Castle on February 12th, 20:00 GMT+1
Aden Castle on February 27h, 20:00 GMT+1

Was quite dissapointed by the Hellforge start - no ddos protoction, lots of boxes (since cpatcha was not working), poor geodata.

you dont have to be dissapointed.

It is all about money and kind of business what you would like to build.
Look, the difference is if you pay 10000+ euros on start to advertiesment, to 5 DDos companies a much more around. In this case you are expecting, that your server will make more money for you. So basicly it is just bussiness for you, because you invested moeny and expecting all money back + ofc ome vacation.

On the other side, if you pay only 1000 euros, of course you will buy protection from only one company, because you are not so rich to buy protection from 5 companies and buy everything around and you did most of things on your server by yourself because you live with the project and breath for the community and you want to build something what ppls will like.
In this case is not a bussiness and not about your earnings, but just good will and passion to create something for players, not for own earnings.

So try to think, before you post something.

Hellforge also has premium and approx the same shop.
Why is it so bad that admins here investe in the server?

As i said it is about intial investment. If you have spare 10k euros to invest into server, it is ok. But you are also expecting that it will be returned and also you earn money, somehow..

Admin on hellforge as i understand don't have 10 k spare euros to buy fancy stuff like Etina. So it is just passion and will of admin who wants to create really great server build on high quality files. But for sure It's not that he doesn't want to invest in the server.

But agree it is absolutely fine if you invest into server if you can.


If you are comparing here Etina vs Hellfoge,
i think it is not compareable. Etina is not even Interlude and it is java with lot Java bugs and "features". Etina change logs are just about messages and some small changes in a game. Nobody fixed the not working fighter classes, epics, etc..

Hellforge is Interlude OFF server, without any higher chronicles features and fancy stuff from javas. Yes they don't have beautiful pictures, videos, banners, but they have Interlude, which is one of the best on the market. Even they are sometimes not acting as proffesional marketing team, but they are doing a great job on server. If you compare what was done on Hellforge after 6 moths with what was done on Etina, you will see the difference.

I am not fun of Hellforge, i more like Etina style of marketing, fancy client, fancy banners, hired professionals etc.

But if you compare all things, files, approach , passion, gameplay feeling .. for me Hellforge is the winner.

But again it is just my opinion.

We have a great opening, nearly 700 unique players joined and played together. Current highest level is 43 so anybody can still easily catch up. Join us and have some fun

The 4 guys over lvl 40 are 2 summoners and a nuker+se duo and this kind of people who rush lvl alone are the first to quit the server, most people are between 25-35 lvl, server is full of people everywhere not like hellforge where it was a dead land on every lvl spot, 0 lag 0 shutdowns, other servers claim that they have best antiddos in the market but nobody can login and get dc every 2 mins

Perspective of player lvl 40 after few days from start
Pros:
-Good online - you can get anything you need, party up with ppl, go suicide on raids, whatever rocks your boat at this moment you will find buddy for.
-Very nice nostalgic setup - no dualbox is charm! I see alot of ppl who suspiciously drag a few boxes but I see already wall of shame on discord so obviously GMs take measures
-Cool community - there are some oldshcool experienced players and you can play with mature ppl for nice chill gaming
-Tryharders - there is fair share of nolifers creating drama and rushing levels so there is some lolz and controversy
-Quality of life - buff stores, crystalization at dwarven manufacture, mailbox, party matching system - just awesome things
-Nice client - I didn't experience freezes and crashes so far on the usual places. Client and interface work smooth.
-No dualbox - this feature is so good I need to mention it again. ALL CLASSES ARE REQUIRED. Plenty of BD/SWS are joining as randoms and even more are being sought for by CPs. There is need of more industrious spoilers to bring more trade to the economy but it is all looking good now.
-NO P2W! - you cannot trade the donation currency, you don't get anything game changing and this is super fair.

Nothing is perfect however so there are some CONS:

-Beta tests weren't very thorough obviously and there are bugs with some debuffs (fear, surrender-fixed very fast) and element weakness and I suppose more will be discovered in the meantime. Good part is that stuff gets fixed fast at this stage.

-Vip chat gets VERY annoying with constant spam of twitch channel advertisements that frequently are very inappropriate - some idiot streamer kids constantly reference drug in their lowly attempts to get a little cheap attention. I don't want to be morals police but there is no way to mute them and filter from chat (i tried already, can still see their rubbish talks).

-Some geo problems where you hide behind walls and mobs still deal damage to you finishing the cast. A few times some mobs submerged under the ground and the cast was interrupted on them until they appeared back on ground.

-No shadow weapons makes start rough and if you haven't experinece with low rate you will have difficult time making adena. Maybe this will make alot of casuals get bored of pre-40 grind and cry away.

Overall I recommend to join this server! More ppl, more drama, more fun )))

Looks like the server has no captcha system (lvl 25 and never got one), as a result lots of dual boxes and bots.
While playing have seen 2 bots and 1 dual box.

Don't recommend to play here.

server seemed very good for me, dispite my comments, everything was very professional. I played on server since server start.
BUT,

last days i can see a some findings.

CONS:
- Geodata of server are very bad, almost every water area is bugged, also mobs are spawned under ground like in every location, sometimes i am swimming while i am running. Sometimes i am kicked out to the air and drop to ground(without damage).
- Dualbox, i see dualboxers everyday , i was frustrated about this situation, so i opened box also. There is absolutely no check for boxes. GMs are not in game, seems like they do not give a shit. I am almost 2 days on dual (3 pcs)
- Pole working with ulimited amount of mobs... Yes that why everyone play pole
- It is not Interlude, it some kind of mixed chronicles. Part are from Gracia, parts from Interlude, parts from Freya, maybe more..

PROS:
- Very nice looking and stable client
- No lags + no-disconnects
- Very nice looking ingame shop
- 450+ player base. => Actualy there is no online counter, so just guessing from how many ppls i see around.
