dude i think u have absolutly no idea what are u talking about... i have a 60lvl PA on frantz and i'm running arround with aegis stance and holy blade/holy armor always on and my mp is always at 100%. so before u start talking trash about a class go inform urself and not on buggy java servers..

true, well, about losing shield power, u will use it only when u are actualy being attacked from sides/behind. When u go on UD and u have RB+minions attacking u, u will use aegis stance, cos the minions will attack u from sides.

Overall, its like this (example):

normal hit -> 100 damage

shield def. -> 50 damage

shield def.+aegis -> 75 damage


Now, whats better? lets say u have 3 mobs attacking u. One in front and 2 in sides.

normal hits -> 300 damage

shield def. -> 250 damage

shield def.+aegis ->225 damage

Don't compare aegis to aegis stance... Aegis stance is something between, but think that you don't only sacrifice shield def power from behind, but you also sarifice it from front. And i think that calculation is fucked up.

mengz, u didnt get it...TK is my favourite tank, Ill stand to TK to the end! Im just saying that a pala with aegis stance isnt that bad. And mana wont be a problem, even if ur regen cant make over for the mp consumption, the lost will be like 1-2 MP per tick, max!



no icarus, the maths aint fucked up (I think), think about it...it doesnt matter the direction on a "normal hit", but when u block, u only block at front. In my example its like this.

On shield block without aegis stance:

the front mob gives 50 damage, cos u blocked
but the side ones will still give 100 damage, cos ur shield cant block sides


On shield block with aegis stance:

all of them give 75 damage, cos u block them all, front and sides, but with less power

wait wait wait shield has the same pdef like the whole armor set?

No, shield can block as much as the whole armor set.

@razveck, my point is that shield defence power loss may act different. For example, if you half your own pdef, that doesn't mean you take 2 times more damage.
