First, str increases crit chance right?

Second, does p.atk affects crit chance?

Third, how about crit rate? Does it affect the chance of getting a crit skill?

I was thinking if it's worth it to get the p.atk bonus as a subclass bonus or be gone instead to m.def.

Thanks.

I think that STR influences Crit Skills, but not P.atk.

STR increases P.atk, but the crit skill chance doesnt come from P.atk, but yes from STR. This means that Might, CoV (PoF) and other buffs that increase P.atk dont affect skill critical rate.

I dont think that the Critical Rate influences, thats why all gladis go -DEX +STR ;)

yes, Im not an expert, but I know some things, and I know why gladis use that weapon:

BECAUSE WHEN A GLADIATOR IS KILLING MONSTERS, HE CANT USE SKILLS ALL THE TIME, OR HE WOULD RUN OUT OF MANA IN A BLINK, SO HE MUST RELY ON NORMAL HITS MOST OF THE TIME, THATS WHY HE USES A FOCUS WEAPON, SO HE CAN MAKE MORE CRITS = MORE DAMAGE, FASTER KILLS, LESS MP USED WITH SKILLS.

Gladiator is nothing w/o it's skills.
It's like destro w/o frenzy and guts.

In pvp it's automatic that you use skills as much as you can and coz of the lot of skills she/he has, she/he don't need dex, just str and con. Dex is for normal hitz.
Also, no shields, no evasion, spd is in sonic move. Dex is only good for pve for glad.

And yes, skill's critchance is based on str.

Str also influences patk, razveck.

Gladi in pvp is a skill guy. It's the rule for many classes. Take the dagger with no skills... Not good.
Take the archer with no skills... Not that bad, see? It highly depends on the mastery.

You got it wrong... I never said put str on glad just for the patk. Str is put for skill crt chance.

Strength - Yes
P. Atk - No

How about crit rate? Like the critical rate you get from dual bonuses, focus buff, subclass passive skill.

Thank you and I really appreciate your thoughts!

Normal crit rate won't take effect, that's why there's -dex dyes on gladis.

Ok, so getting the normal passive increase critical rate and rogue subclass skills won't do much in PVP.

The only option I guess is go m.def.

Thanks for the enlightenment.
