God, cant believe how messy the internet is. Even searching here on pmfun is pain. Can anyone point me to a well populated english speaking retail-like interlude server with x15 rates? No custom bull*hit plz.

PS If you cant think of any interlude, feel free to post any other chronicle, but with the same parameters as above. Also, if you know an interlude/whatever server that fits my requirements which has different rates, go ahead and post it too, but maximum rates are x20 and minimum x10.

Dude, while you are waiting, go and try out L2Dawn.
It is x5... but who cares, it's not just the only Interlude server worth playing during these dark times, but it actually turned out really good, at least much better than expected. It's not going anywhere especially with it's current population increase and the more you play the more you'll gonna like it (at least that was the case wih me).
Don't mean to be pushy or anything, if you tried it and it's still not up to your liking feel free to look for some other server, but I think it would be a miss not to give this one a chance before completely ruling it out from the possible candidates just because it's x5. I'm also a casual, but since it's Interlude and reaching S-grade means endgame, x5 is not that bad.

Ive tried Dawn and other servers like that, and thats why I want x15. x5 is just too slow for me. If Dawn was x15 I would happily play there. If it wasnt for the slow progress frustration, I would keep playing there.

L2Mid had a great start back then with good population and also clans that mean business.

As for being l2off? NOPE. They admittedly altered classes in the name of "balancing" them out arbitrarily to personal taste and merit (nerfing daggers for example) + to make matters worse, they introduced MANA POTIONS...
Now the only meddling I'm okay with is an XP OFF command. They have to get a bit more serious about the whole "let's make a server lol" - idea, because usually people seeking Interlude are mostly players preferring their game by the book.

Upon looking their page, that is indeed true. Still they have a lot in common beside the name. Mana pots are bad for the game, elders have that skills for a reason and taking care of your mp is rooted to the game's structure. Sadly they awfully seem to got it all planned out already.

Interlude is awesome, perhaps the best chronicle, it's just right in every way. Not too many grades but those features good variety, thoughtful bonuses and good looks.
But after giving it some thought, if a server has to be around x20 maybe it should be a later chronicle. Have to admit, I always loved Shadow Step, so Garcia would be nice. No custom bs, just proper Garcia (or Gracia whatever) as it was meant to be.

Good luck finding that server. The only x15 retail-like server I have seen was L2Citadel with Hellbound. It was awesome as hell before rushers started crying about no competition and left with their whole clans instead of waiting for others to catch up. I hope they reopen sometime.

BTW If you ever have the idea that joining an x5 server with vitality (gracia and up) is like playing an x15 server because vitality gives you 3x mroe exp, get it out of your head. Vitality drains fast and youll be stuck at x5 unless you play like 1 hour per day.

PS Why doesnt L2 have mana potions? I never quite understood that. Especially when there are elixirs and stuff.

Citadel was indeed a great one. Undeserved fate reached it as you said. They got it right and there was tons of work behind it and a great community. That and Evoke was the best servers since the original L2 turned into ruin with GoD.

Speaking of GoD, do you know by chance whats the great conspiracy behind the NCSOFT logicTM? I mean, instead of making L2 free to play, they make something completely different. When it fails, they go back to paid model and offer proper L2. Do you have any clue why they act so retarted and cant understand that players want F2P normal Lineage instead of one or the other?
