Hello guys!

There are many topics debating this, but none seem to create a clear direction to follow.

Some players want to return to L2 after a break, some others had enough of Russian ( or other exotic language server--no offence) and many people are annoyed as the L2 community is falling apart because there is no STABLE, international, english speaking GF/H5 etc. server.

First of all, this topic IS NOT about debating which chronicle is better or WHY there are no servers...or WHY we should join RPG or other existing server. Of course feel free to argument why any of the COMING servers is better. I do not represent any party. I'm a player who wants to play L2 again after a break.

This topic IS ABOUT finding out which COMING SOON Server you want to join or will join. I made a poll asking which of the following advertised servers you preffer. If your option is not on the list, please recommend more servers (if they fit the criteria) and I'll add them to the poll. Hopefully, if one server dominates the poll, will help more people to decide where to go....there are not many options though.

Second of all, to make things clearer, this topic is for people who want to play ANY of the following chronicle updates:

*Gracia Final, Epilogue, Freya or High Five.

*at rates ranging from X5-X20.

*in a stable server, with professional admins/GMs, as close to retail as possible, preferably no donation for items that break the balance of the game, AntiBot/ddos and no custom or unnecessary addition that disrupts the balance of the game.

*population minimum 500 at all times (more ore less) for higher competition and because there are always unhappy ones who emo/drama/rage quit.

I personally would be happy with any chronicle/rate from the list above, but I would be happier for a higher rate (X10 and above), because I'm tired of farming like in the old days.

If there is no direction, everyone will go their way...and so far it isn't that good. We need to regroup. I consider PMFUN one of the biggest l2 clans/community, so I address all of you here, but I know not all will respond.

Remember old Cerberus Server? or you name it... Yes old days. Those nice servers, nice events, nice staff etc. They will never come back, but we can create a new era. And it seems that 2015 is the perfect year to start it.

I know this is 'mission impossible x'. Please don't post the reasons why this is impossible, because this is a post for believers, for dreamers, for those who still have the hope of joining a stable server where the staff and players remind them of the old days, of what it means to be kind, fun, challenging, respectful and enemy at the same time. If you don't believe this is possible, then this post is not for you, please comment somewhere else.

This is a post about solutions. In our case...Which server will we join soon and keep alive for many years to come? As long as players stay, server will be alive.

I googled Asters and got Russian text...
Dex is soo old...I've heard they want to open a new one...but no news.
Dragon will be HB (not on my chronicle list)
and RPG is on the poll (they haven't decided what to open...they have referendum....but are we going to RPG again because no better option?:(

I know there are not many out there worth mentioning. All we need is one good server with good team behind it.

Also, I forgot to mention... if you also know the opening date for the ones you recommend, please shout. For the first two in the poll (Gale, KungFu) the opening is this month (September) after 15th.

Gale is in Beta now. They seem to have interesting team behind...but want second opinions.

The only servers worthily to be mentioned are:

- Lineage.ru GF 7x
- RPG-CLUB (mostly G final too)
- mby asterios ?! but is l2j so mehh...
- EU classic soon to be released this autumn/winter (but I have huge doubts on the online numbers 1 month into the server, unless they allow softcore botting)

*edit: - L2mid: nothing official yet but being the most successful midrate interlude EU server I think they will also open a server this winter.


Other games soon to be released having a big HYPE over the L2 community:
- Black Desert
- Blade and Soul
- Lineage Eternal

I will add Lineage.ru X7 on the list. Seems decent option. Dunno if I can edit a poll so I'll add it to my first post.
RPG club will most likely be H5 based on votes.
EU classic will require subscription..anyway...not an option.

The 3 games you mention look cool. Maybe forget about L2:)).

Wait wait wait a minute. You guys (Dex) finally are opening server without RU partner? Like old Dex?

And they seem so passive about it, when it's probably one of the greatest hits of the season .

yes and at the same time they are expecting 200-300 online at start as on their last server

Our last srv had 680 online on beta ... How many did you had on server you made, if you ever made a server ?
Dex will open a server as in old times together with our old c4 partner( real one ) la2.gr (yes, the real eglobal , not current rusky server that pretend its eglobal ) .

If, If this is true. Then you success will come with how well you can advertise you project. Lineage 2 project without proper ads is dead right before start and no worth investing of time/money. Also consider the date you launch server, you will have strong competitors. So good luck.
