yeah this is insane for russians who are gmt +4 5 6 ++ this will be insane kinda strange, since most of big server probably will try to ddos it, so its better to start at 16.00 or 17.00 and until night solve all shit

It is because of admins, they have to be all up when they want to lunch it and apperently they cannot sooner. That is all I know about why so late.

Yeah a bit of an odd time. But it is important that all the staff are on for launch and since we are all from different Timezones this is the time that worked for us

The last couple of weeks at L2Citadel have been extremely busy, with continuous updates and development both on the gameserver and on web development. As of 01/19/2015 client protection and encryption, dual box protection, new version of Black Watch, Auction System (web), Donations, and much much more have been completed and everything is on schedule for one of the largest launches in years and now the path becomes clear. 
 
01/21/2015 the gameserver will go offline in preparation for live. Account creation through the panel will also be disabled. The following days will be spent setting up the server for live on 01/23/2015 at 22:00gmt+1!. 
 
Open beta has been amazing with as of today 2.2k game accounts made. That’s outstanding for an open beta these days! Thanks to all of you who actively tested and reported bugs.

It's limited to two clients a person (main +1 box); lots of people want to be able to box even more and others don't want to allow any dual boxing. We've tried to find some common ground between these two extremes.
