I am currently planning for the creativity of a hellbound OFF server and i wanted to ask you - players what you'd prefer and what would attract you.


Would you be interested in playing in a low rate hellbound server ( x1-10) or in a mid hb server? (x20 - 70) ? How a hellbound server would be enjoyable for you ? Would you generally play a hellbound server these days?


I'll be waiting for your opinions,every opinion is welcome .

Its kinda nice to hear this unexpected rush of HB servers.Atm big project L2Citadel is going to open in autum,and i heard from another developer that he is going to open HB server in this year.There are thousands players who waits for HB server to open.IMO if you can open your server 2-3 months before L2Citadel,you'll have decent community for those 2-3months,because L2Citadel will overwhelm any other HB server at that moment.

If i open a hb server,it will be within the next 2 months. Why do you think Citadel will steal players from my server anyway? What would make you stay in my hb server and not go in the other one in the future?

Because L2Citadel staff worked on it's files for months, if not even more, and that work involved few very prominent developers. Some1 who put that much of an effort in making files will put same amount of time into advertising as well, and frankly if I have to chose between that kind of project and one whose admin thinks of opening mid-rate HB server, then it looks like an obvious choice.

Y, simply Citadel looks like biggest HB project atm.

and the situation is kinda sux cause community will be splitted, many many servers are planned to open autumn / winter...
just simply no need more servers for that time, what's the point splitting more to have few hundred online servers, apf

I would say go for it, you will definetly learn alot from it , L2Citadel is developed by one guy Mac/Bigmac/McMac whatever that's the guy, what you can expect from that server is that it's a gracia final off files downgraded to hellbound level, so no hellbound retail stats, no hellbound formulas (for damage/resist/all those stuff), if he wants to deliver the real hellbound experience he needs alot more time, you can expect to play limited gracia final by the client . That's it, i only see big words coming out of the l2citadel, but no test server no nothing (not even a website)

I'd play on any low/mid HB/GF/EPI, especially HB, my favourite chronicle. But I will NOT play on a ultra-hardcore server filled with socalled "pro's" , pk'ers and goons with bad language. My experience is that theeese servers don't survive long anyway, so why go that route once again?

Make it a little laidback, a place where people can stress down and have fun. Don't set up the server to fit forum warriors with to much time on their hands.....

Btw, by choosing a more civilized profile, you may avoid beeing taken off net by mother Russia on opening night.....

Website is under construction, they are opening closed beta test server this week, they are taking their time because they are planing to open it only in october/november. So everything you said is denied.Anyways ofc Slade can open this HB server, it will be nice to remember good old areas/skills/mobs.

Citadel is not developed by just 1 guy, where did you get that info? And yes all stats, formulas including skills, resists etc, etc are hellbound retail, so you are wrong on that count also.

We are taking our time with the project and will put some forums up once CB is running. No rush = a much better project

This server gonna be the most complete HB server ever, you will see it.
