We need your help and your opinion! Speak up!
As we mentioned earlier we are planning to expand our BloodBros world and open a totally new L2 Gracia Final server in the future. And we really need your opinion, suggestions about the future server; we are asking your participation in future server’s creation. Honestly, we are doing this only for you! We want to know what do you want in the server, what makes a perfect server for you our loyal player!
Please tell us, your opinion about Gracia Final chronicle. Do you like it? If not, then why?
What do you want in the server? Should it be retail? What rates?

For now, we are thinking about x7-x10 rates, and same scenario as on the Interlude server:
No GM Shop, where you can buy items that involves gameplay.
No NPC Buffer.
You must do 1st and 3rd Class Change/Nob/Sub Quests.
2nd Class Change Quest is available for Adena or Donate Coins via Service NPC
Service NPC, with hats/some services.
Premium acc.

We are waiting for your suggestions and opinions in the forums, please be active in this one. :)
P.S. This does not mean that we are going to wipe the Interlude server. We are planning to have at least 2 different servers.

Isn't Deager's quest part of GF for 2. class? If so, no need for custom NPC. Flat rates from 7 to 10 is OK. And most important, make autopickup! And get it online as fast as possible. Populate the server before the summer starts.

In any case, GF will be more populated then IL, even if I don't have that much time, I'll most likely try it also, since it's easyer to get levels, vita+pailaka+commons+full c sets+b grade on lux+kamalokas.

Only thing I don't understand from you're "server perspective", is why open a 5x IL then consider opening a 7-10x GF :D I would think that, you would consider opening some 3-4x GF. 7-10x GF will be so fast, you'll think you have a mid rate server instead of intended low rate. So I'd consider those rates before you start, as I think 7-10X is kinda to high for a lowrate on GF, it would have been awsome tho on IL.

You're 2nd class thingy, as Rhea stated, is kinda pointless, since GF has Daeggar short quest.

Things to consider, are quest rates, as in mats/adena. GF has all the good mats quests available, including zero hour, stuttgrat area/rune area. So be sure to mention & test those quests before you go. I had a list, with all the important mats quests, If I can find it, I'll post it.

Wolfs are nasty creatures on GF, so be sure they work right, also check that their stats don't modify when changing from great wolf to fenir.

GF is kinda perfect the way it is, there is no need to customize it in any way, not that you were' going to, there is only one thing, that might be considerd, as it was a problem of mine on every gf server, that there was no way for me to get dark stones, while sps/sorc could get their stones from iop. So the thing to consider was, to start server with hp opened, so it will require just the short quest to enter. If it's a good ideea or not, I don't know, just saying from past experience. One other possible "fix" for this imbalance, IMO, is to custom edit those mobs in iop so they drop with the same chance they drop water they can also drop earth and dark.

Those above are just my opinion from my perspective as playing a class that needs those dark stones. Either you choose to implement them or not, I'll still give it a try, since GF is a relaxing chronicle, not so hardcore as IL with more things to do, and not so trashy as H5 with to much things to do.

Autopickup, I'm not gonna write about it, since I don't want to upset Rhea :P

After you took the quest from Rafforty, he will send you to find Misa on Frost like. Its a bit fustrating to get there but I try to explain it. When you teleport to Ice Merchant's Cabin go to Rafforty. On the Rafforty's behind and left side you can see a road with tree branches, so make your way there. At the first corner turn left and go ahead all the way until you see a bridge. Do NOT cross over the bridge, turn right before it and go ahead until you see and Ice lake with ice tables on it, wait there for Misa. This is the tricky part of the quest. Misa only spawns at night, you can check the game time by typing /time . When you speak with misa you will get the Misa's letter, then he sends you back to Rafforty. Very important when you get back to Rafforty and you speak with him, he will ask you that maybe if you read the letter or not, the first answer must be ARE YOU DOUBTING ME?, the rest of the answers doesnt matter. If you do not choose this anwer the quest ends and you have to start all over again. Speak with Rafforty until you earn Rafforty's Letter. Go back to Misa, and now Misa will ask you to find her group members the Ice Sculptures. You can get there by going through Frozen Labyrinth toward Ice Queen's Castle. There will be 4 Ice Sculptures, speak with all of them. They will send you to Kier. The best way to get Kier is to soe from Ice Sculptures and teleport again to Ice Merchant's cabin. You have to choose the path in front of Rafforty, and the left side (south of Ice Merchant's Cabin). When you get to Kier speak with it and you will earn Report Piece. He sends you back to Rafforty. Speak with him and he tells you you need the Piece of Tablet. Go back to the 4 Ice Sculptures and speak with all of them until you earn Piece of Tablet. Now finally go back to Rafforty and speak with him 2 times. Congratulations you finished the quest. You get xp, sp, adena as reward and availability to choose materials from the An Ice Merchants's Dream quest.

Suddenly, we have two upcoming GF servers on forum; question is, is it to late for theese chronicles, or to late for L2 as a whole? Have seen that I often are the only registred user here on PMFun when I make a visit, a couple of years ago there was always 10-20 regged users, and a lot of guests.

The "Lineage 2 Magic"-crew has proudly announced "No Autopickup" on their forum, so I'll keep an eye on this one untill further...

As long as mammons stays in the dungeons, there is no GM-shop whatsoever, and there is autopickup, I'm glad. But I'm not optimistic. Been watching kids play Minecraft. Scary! Running around as headless chicken; shouting, no plan, no nothing, just noise!! Real L2 is to complicated for kids used to this way of gaming...

One of my finest moments in L2 was when I finished my first BW-heavy set, and put it on my bladedancer. Her name was DancerInTheDark, and the server was lineage2.ro ..... Those were the days........

The Irony eh :) 2 servers... both about the same, only thing that will make the difference will be, the staff behind server, reputation, server start date (it shouldn't be a main reason but it is, when 2 servers that target the same consumers, it will be a race, coz most likely regradless of what the prefferences of the players, they will try the one that opens 1st anyway, and some of them will stay, thus taking away players from the 2nd)

While, I'm not sure about magic protection, I am sure about the bloodbros one, since I've tryed some bot software on IL bros, and it didn't work, not saying that there can't be a way to bot for a skilled player, but for a regular player they don't, and those that manage to, can be picked up manualy in game, by an active staff.

Thing that gives me confidence and in the same time some worries, is that on the 1st hand, I see they do keep the IL server alive even if hardly 50 players are playing it, on the other hand, they did wipe the IL server before, and this makes you think.(wich they never should have done).
It's true that they did implement some new features to their account panel, and they try to make the game a little more fun, by enabling some events, however, I'm not seeing them trying to make people promote the server, other then "vote", and I'm not sure, I'm just asking now, is there any reward for voting? do some points go in account and you can do stuff with it? I'm guessing not, if I'm wrong sorry.

To the question "is it to late", for this chronicle no, this is actually imo the most nice chronicle to play from all, (only thing I would modify about it, as stated above, is drop for dark/earth stones, to balance it out, but other then this.. perfect). PI is not a mage heaven, Dynasty is still something to dream on, A grades are "the bomb" for mages, and even for fighters, S grade weps are the best, (excluding hb), and anyway, all the other things all players know, that makes me say GF is the best chronicle for a relaxing L2 gameplay.

"Is it to late" for L2? no, I used to think that also, but no, it's not too late. Since People on that 1x IL project, say there are still K-s of people arround, some older project(not sure how old) had 5k on start, and this one that it's beeing promoted, the person that is activly promotig it here, says there will be easyly be 1k of players, I tend to belive it's far from dead. And I've played some crap servers also, this year, and to be honest, I was kinda the oldest arround there, with my 30 years, some 19 dude even told me" wtf are you doing playing this server ", so there are a bunch of new players "learning" the game on crappy server, it's just a matter of time untill they will try something more serious. So no, it's not to late for L2.

My opinion, as ever, is so damn simple, open the server, respond to bugs on forum, fix them by importance, and nottice players even if the bug is not fixed that "it's beeing investigated", and all is fine with the world. Not that hard... Oh yeah, and even if players are idiots, and ask for either fix for non existing bugs or bugs that don't really affect gameplay, admin should respond to all of them, with respect and few words. Ignoring a bug report on forum, or replyig to it sarcastcly no matter how idiotic the request is, is not a proof for a pro staff, the players can do that still.

And, forgot to mentio something, I've seen that, even that magic serv. ( maybe they are not yet decided upon), haven't mention anything about quest rates, especially the mat part, that's so damn important. I want to be able to figgure out, how many fangs will I drop i stakato, and how much the reward is.. is that important, and not only that, but for all the quests I've mention above.

Think that's all for now.

I forgot to metion some funny shit, that I hope it dosen't happe aywere but crappy l2h5 (mid)servers, on some server, the forum was not populated with... bug reports, or suggestios, or I don't know stuff.. pvp things, blabla.. NOOO :) the forum was filled up in spanish (had to use google translate) with "BAN HIM, HE INSULTED ME.. HERE I MADE PRINT SCREEN", I couldn't belive how dumb those players were, probably to young(most likely) to understand the flame heaven l2 is, and even if not l2, to care about what someone says about you, you're family, and other stuff, and most of them were on PM. Whille, I do let's say understand the flame on general, might be disturbing for oher players - EVEN IF, /block user, prevent's the shout beeing seen - but those on PM, to ban someone or to take any action against a message in private, it's just retaded, and to try to ban that dude coz he said whatever to you on pm is even more retarded. Since I'm romanian, I've been called gipsy, thief, rapist, blabla, I'm not any of that, but do I care? Sometime I even make fun of people, bragging with me beeing gipsy, even tho I'm not, but to go and complain about this things, and even worse try to get someone banned for this, is so so so pathetic.

So, this is what I hope it dosen't happen anywere, staff taking actions against people private chats, and probably they shouldn't take any action against shouts aswell, since /block nick, prevents the messages beeing seen futher even on shout. But even if in worst case scenario they do take action, to do more then chat-ban that person, would be insane.

BTW - here is a suggestion, since I see the "no dual box" concept is somethig that people get into, how about steal the ideea :) that is, if you have the means to actually prevent dual boxig.

Well, can't find any entry on your new server at your own forum. If you mean to build a playerbase here, you'd better keep the thread warm....

Better to decide on rates and features already now, and give us a time schedule. All this about listen to players etc is basically crap. You can't agree with everyone. Someone is going to drop you. It all boils down to get a hype.... Best way is to get it online, and let players build the community while playing. Whimsy admins who tries to satisfy everybody don't do well in the long run. Keep a firm hand on the steering wheel.
