i was wondering around and thinking about pvp... i wanted to know what are the best classes for pvp? usualy people say that any dagger or necromancer is nice... give me your honestly opinion

All classes can pvp well except bishops prophets elven elders,shilien elders,bounty hunters,war smiths, i dont say they cant pvp,YES they can but not as effectively as other classes.
Now honestly long range attack types mostly rule like mages and archers.
so i would recommend the following as good choices:
Necromancer,hawk eye,spell singer,silver ranger,spell howler..

thats my personal opinion.

If you are new and asking for a balanced class, try DA.

If you want to focus on damage and pvp, necro. If you are more experienced, try abyss walker. You need some skills to handle it be careful. Oh and btw the aw in c4 gets owned real bad from lvl 1 to lvl 75. From lvl 76 it's from worst pvp class to one of the best. If you play interlude, the aw is more balanced overall @ lvls cause he gets mortal strike. Plains walker owns too, but th falls behind at lvl 78.

Archer: i'd recommend hawkeye, or silver ranger. Not phantom ranger, no way, it's like a prototype for me.

If you're playing c4, aw is nerfed real bad. It's only good at lvl 78 because he got focus death, so he pretty much does many of the blows. The th aren't that good at 78, they get focus chance, but it's much weaker. So in c4, you have 2 enemies th and aw, they lvl up at the same time. In pvp, at lvl 1 the dark fighter wins normally cause it hits much faster. At lvl 40, the th wins cause he has more hp. Lvls 41-77 is hell for the aw, he gets constantly beaten by the th. At lvl 78 what happens? The th is owned by the aw. Hex + ~90% of blows success hurts really bad.

In interlude, it's about the same thing, it's just that the aw starts to own the th somewhere from lvl 66, when he gets mortal strike lvl 2. In this case, at lvl 74 aw has mortal strike 3, so from 74-77, th is owned on 90% of battles because his blow success is really bad. The only thing he gets is critical blow which is only available for 10 seconds and it has a lower effect than the mortal strike. But it's got an immense reuse. At lvl 78 the aw uses focus death once again and if bluff lands you know what a backstab with focus death means? +90% damage from behind. Do the math. At 78 the aw owns. On l2gold, i play for about 1 month, and i haven't seen a th with similar equip own me in pvp. Maybe in backstab situations. Not in pvp.

Oh btw you can try the plains walker, it's better than the th, it's farming friendly (the aw isn't) and it can still own a th. You see, the races elf-human-dark elf have something very good. Humans have the duelist, dark elves have the dagger, and elves got the archer.

imo,l2 has balanced classes so if properly played any class can own in pvp.it all depends on your playstyle.people say in interlude the duelist is imba.well that's not true.a titan on frenzy can sweep the floors with the duelist due to his enormous hp/cp pool.others say daggers rule.others that archers do and so on.
if you know pvp,you can beat the hell out of say a necro with a prophet

Yes, but some classes tend to be better at killing, for example you don't kill mages or archers with a destro.

With destro you "eat" tanks (if they're stupid enough to try to sword you) and make daggers retreat (same, if they're stupid enough to use daggers against you).

Adrian: see my example above. Who are you supposed to pvp? Archers? Hamstring/entangle/freezing strike. Mages? Slow. Her you are: da vs necro with summon, and aw vs necro with summon. Who has more chances? The da kills the summon right? And his hp left is? 1/4? An aw kills it. His hp is? 3/4?

A destroyer if a really hard character to use ,you need lots of practice and skills to do some serious damage on the field.I have seen destros killing better than archers,making mob trains of 15+,when they use their spear....run.. in a siege a destro single handed the royal guards, no tank could do that,he is made for masters of the game only real pros can make him shine i really don't recommend him for newbies.

Actually both of them can take down a necromancer.

Now you may not play daggers but heres what you do when you attack a necromancer:
First you wait for him to come close by blocking his range (stay behind a wall or something) then you hit UE (and dash if you have) and charge him using bluff and then stab his ass to the end, you NEVER go after the summon first when you use dagger(cause you have UE of course ) only if you have a bow with you and you want to kite him a little.

The DA needs to have a bow with him just in case
he must send the panther on the necro and MUST land a hamstring on him too...the rest is easy..but i wont tell ya

For C4 i think tha spellholwers are very good at pvp(s)......

Spelhowler is good because it got a silence in pvp its wery good but. SpS is wery fast cast and it can kill before sph cast silence. (In event i win ws sph 60lvl I was 56lvl sps and i win) but i dont hawe friens necros i dont know its good or no

SpS is wery hard to rise lvl. if u rise sps u NEED! SE or EE

Destro PWN all if u know hot to play . yes he is slow but u can buy 1 bow for range .
