Seriously, I don't understand people sometimes.
Some of you want IL but also saying that you won't even try Evoke, since it's dead. Well guess what, it's not. Just visit some of it's locations, see the market on a weekend, go to towns like Goddard or Rune. Population is still around 8-900. Not the 1500 as it was at some point... but it has players that are there to stay.

But most importantly if you want IL but the current population is too low for you, then f*ck you becuase face it, Evoke is your best pick right now. You don't want to join that server fine, join another,a crowded one full of 4k active players. Care to tell me what that is? Oh, there is no such thing? Well yeah, that kinda leaves us with one option, does it...
Fail servers came and went but Evoke outlived them all since it's opening. It is and possibly will be the only place right now that is ok. And if all you dumbs care to just start playing there, increase the population with YOURSELF instead of bragging for a server to... magically appear out of nowhere with 3k online active community, then keep dreaming. How on earth could a brand new server can be better then an already existing, finely tuned one that have like... 800, already dedicated players?
Keep hoping for a miracle and waste more time if you want, since that really worked in the past few months anyway...

I like GF. It's one of the best chronicle, possibly my favourite, despite quite a few things that I do loathe in it. But now as I play Interlude (which still scored a good amount of percentage in the poll here), I realized that it is juuusst fine. Priorities shifted. Server quality comes first. Community, population... and by those I don't mean a swarm of russians and their bots, but a good, english speaking, fun community like on Evoke. If that is granted, any chronicle is fine. But the unbalanced mess of a bugfest that is HB just won't allow that to happen. GF is good though.. But building a server that manages to rival Evoke is a lost cause, really. You never in a million years gather another 900 active player out of nowhere. Especially keep it after the 5th month.
This is a feat that no one managed to pull off in the recent YEAR besides Evoke. Say what you will, but that is something that you have to respect. Right now it's a great choice even at it's current condition. But imagine how amazing would it be if everybody could finally grow the f*ck out of their differences and just settle there. That's like.. a lot of people, with that many participants do you know how awesome that server would be? If another 900 would join the already existing 900?? It would be the definite place to play Lineage 2... Why make new servers all the time and divide the gaming community if you can just join a good, welcoming and stable one with perhaps the best chorincle ever?
That's all I'm saying... If we could all just gather in an existing one for a change. Think about it, people. We that are still playing Lineage 2 we're not that many in number like the old days now, but if we could actually play ONE good server holding the majority of the remaining players, that would be just friggin' AWESOME.
And right now Evoke is the best bet for this, it stood the test of time and proved that it WILL exist even as it is right now. That's done, it's granted, it actually managed to form a base... But it can still be even greater. The promise is there but it's really up to us what we make of it.

Actually.. you can make yet another server if you want but it will only make the situation stagnate at best. Right now if we really want to progress, this is the only possibility I see. To just stop dividing and gather at one place to actually make a server that is as good as some were back in the glory days.

Join evoke or just keep dreaming, because after evoke is done population of low rates will go even lower.
Btw there are lot more then 800 active, there just divided to different time zones and have a life.

Unlike you some of us want HB not for the community but for the chronicle.Ofcourse population is esential,but i would rather play in buggy HB with 300pop than in your beloved IL evoke. just my opinion
