Actually it's not a good idea to force possible players to actually register just to read the forums.. I know it's 2 minutes, but most people don't need another account in their lifes before even having the chance to see what they register for. Most cases I visit some page for some time then I decide to actually register only because of a certain topic to post my opinion.
Here other's might want to see how the community is forming, what clans decide to migrate and start a new lifes here etc..

Your rule applies for about 95% of servers, but thing with dragon-network is that it aims specifically to it's old members that played there 7-8 years ago and forum activity is amazing. Many players and clans already announced their presence there and I am talking about players that quit L2 in c4.

I got nice and bad memories about DN, we will see I am not sure how to react on a server like this after so many years.

After playing l2 for 6 years in almost 100 servers i can say the best memories i have are from DN x5 Server.

But yea its different from others l2 servers.

Well if I do join it will be hard core playing only, nothing less.

Dragon network is a 10 year old community and servers.

I doubt u can find something like that.

Server Start moved to 17.1 after getting many players request.

I played Dragon Network during the C3 times, the very first Lineage II private server I played. I remember we had to run from Hardin's Academy and bug a mountain to get to Dragon Valley Caves .

Had a Phantom Summoner, mobs couldn't attack the summon back, so summoners could farm without taking any damage. They fixed it like 2 weeks later. I stayed all the way to C4, great times. Dragon Network is the longest active private server I think.

I might give the new Interlude server a try, i'm not too happy about the dynamic rates though, it kind of breaks the players progression.

I'm also not a fan of dynamic rates. The lower grades can be done swiftly enough without any acceleration, but after 74 the progression drops down significantly. So you're quickly past C-grade without even noticing, then you struggle in S even with x4 (but now it will be x1 by then) and it might become dull faster. So exactly the opposite happens of what I prefer.
I think a good x4 would be nice, it would give us more time to spend on lower grades, then somewhat speeds up the progresion later when it gets super slow. Even in Interlude, the only thing you ever need to craft is A-S grade since you can buy equipment up to C-grade in the luxory shop (and since B-grade is so short, one can get to lvl 61 wearing C-grade too), but with this no one will ever bother to craft anything below A.
