I'll open a new low rate server (3x) in the comming 2 weeks, RETAIL LIKE.
I'm finishing developing the account manager and i'll setup a forum very soon.

There won't be ANY DONATIONS on this server, EVER.

Why do you say that?

Very good! I am sure that I'll play in your server. One condition is: Please don't make dualbox allowed, because it is bad in low rate servers... What do you think about it? I know that you can care about online but trust me... I am not alone who hate dualbox. I prefer more 200 online without dualbox than 1k online with so much boxes. And making box in low rate server is another big problem with class making and exping so it will be better if everybody will do his best alone or with online friends. No donations is very good. Gratz! But Tell me why don't you make the server x1 or x2 but just x3? I think x1 is the best. I know so much servers Interlude x2 / x3 / x4 / x7 etc so it hasn't sense to make another x2 - x7 servers. But about x1, there aren't any servers like that so it could be very interesting for players who are dreaming about that (like me for example). I am waiting for your answer. If you tell me the server will be Interlude, x1, no dualbox, me and other people will be very happy

If you make all the server rates x1 and no dualbox, I am sure that I'll join you with many friends and I will advertise the server in many popular boards. I am sure now that many people are waiting for server like that. If you divide my sentence, I will be very happy because the dreams come true

There are about 5 huge low rate projects that are or about to be open. Lineage.ru has 10-12k online on their interlude server, they are openinig x5 GF in month together with l2dex, L2dex opened x5 server few days ago, rpg-club is going to open server in october/november, l2toxic+shockworld are opening low rate GF in less than 7 days ... Unknown servers has 0 chance of success in sept/oct/nov, if you don't trust me, there are plenty of evidences right here in this Server Discussion Board. Just read some previous threads and you will get the idea.

You are right. So all you have to do is be crazy and create x1 server. People will come for sure. But they won't come in x1 < rate servers because it is standard now. So make the server no dualbox and x1. I help you in advertise and you could be sure for now that you will have 200+ online on your server Trust me hehe

Well, I just choose the 3x because it's neither too low, nor too high.
But if you want a 1x server, maybe it's better to play official server, no? Or the combination of IL + 1x is what ur looking for?

Well, I'll open the server that most people want, I don't care if it's 2x, 2000x, 10000x.. in the end what matters is to have players and them to be happy.

This server will be hosted on my webserver that I currently host my professional projects, it have plenty of power to host a big L2 server, that's why there won't be any donations, because I'll pay the server bill whether I have the L2 Server or not.

About the servers opening, none of them are IL, right? Some players are still looking for old chronicles and a no donation server is a plus imo. Let's see, I want to hear more feedback please. Also, most of them are Russian servers.

these new servers launched by trusted and quality networks suck mostly all available players
I wouldn't launch or start any project right now

on your topic, you won't get ppl attracted with that low rate you can check queen it had the only problem with that x2 simply many many ppl will not farm and play on a x2 IL in 2013
there is not so much difference between your planned rate and that 2x

Ok. I still think that x1 is better idea because x2 and x3 is similar and x2 server is Queen (600 online for now), so I will propably stay still there. But if you make x1 if will be very orginal and interesting for people from x2 - x7 rates servers. So please think about it... In my opinion it is non sense to make another x2 - x7 Interlude server. If you don't bealive me, just look at servers:
Lineage 2 Global x4
Lineage 2 Queen x2
Lineage 2 Ice Fury x7
And a lot of more which exist now. Every has dualbox allowed and rates x2 - x7. So make another one similar is non sense. I am sure that the server will be su much more popular in x1 rates and no dualbox than x3 and dualbox. I think you can see a lot of players who are waiting for that... x1 and no dualbox is my dream. If you get D grade weapon and 20 lvl in x1 server without dualbox you are happy but if you get it in x7 with multi / dualbox you think: it is just d grade... I must have A!!!. So crazy and orginal x1 server without dualbox will be the best reason for now and I am sure the people will come, because they are waiting for many years for server like that!

About official it is bad because GoD is not Lineage II for me... GoD is high rate and it should be Lineage III. So there is not a sentence that people doesn't join x1 rate server because they prefer to play in official... This sentence was right but is not in present times when official is of course x1 but GoD so high rate for me. So you can go ahead and create a server:
-all rates x1
-no dualbox
-no donations
-100% retail like
Just create forum, website. I can advertise the server in maxcheaters / lineage2.com.pl and other very popular boards. You could be sure that the server can exist for many years and with big population. About x2 - x7 servers - they are going down day by day because it is boring... A lot of similar servers... x1 is orginal

People in this board said you that it is bad timing. It is truth but for creating the same / similar server to other existing now. But the timing is the best for create x1 server now. Because that servers (x2 - x7) are going down, people don't want to play there any more. They all can come to your x1 server. 2 weeks is so much time for advertise the server. If anyone will see (x1, no dualbox) he will be shocked and will be thinking about joing to very orginal server. But if anyone will see x3 so he will think: another big fail, it is boring to create another the same server.
Now everyone GM think: x3 is not so much not so low, so it is the biggest possibility that people join. But this sentence is going down day by day because the x2 - x7 rate servers are going down and People see that it is nonsene to join similar server because it will die too. So please let's try to make something original. I hope that a lot of people will join your server because they are waiting for that for many years and everyone will think that it is something other, oryginal and everyone will check it

on server w/o dual box cp system do not exist. 80% ppl play on cp system so answer the question:
Who will play on that server ? oldschool players with 200 online ?
