they changed theyr ddos protection so the registration was down for about 30 minutes
back up now

Pretty hard DDoS attack they were facing, 16gbps.

They managed to block it, later on they attacked the server machine, had to change IP to block again. So acc registration went down aswell. I think now they could block the incomming attack, should be stable for now.

When actually did this server start ?

Glad to see you are still online! Remember this server, checked on you when you started. Really good setup. You have one of the best websites I've seen.

But I do not play on servers without autopickup. Nor do many of the experienced players still keeping an eye on the game. The assumption that "oldtimers" dont play on autoloot servers is wrong. Auotopickup can be implemented in many ways. For each character in controlpanel, by voicecommand or in general. It is always prefered to let RB's and kama's drop on the ground.

It is claimed that autopickup disrupts balance between classes. Bullshit! Class balance is a topic on every server who has been on for a while. Autoloot or not. One can never agree!

Without autopickup you double server instances and IP load, making server less responsive than it could be. And you force players to use energy and focus on mondane tasks, again, and again, and again, and again, and agian, and again, and again. Untill they are brainless monkeys.

No offence, this blowout is not for you only. But I'm pretty tired of servers that add custom NPC's for this and that, but still will not discuss autopickup. GM's that puts up buffers, class changers and mammons in town can hardly be called "hardcore" or "retail-like"! Yet, they will not discuss the convinience of autopickup.
