Server has it drawbacks, but many points on the pluss-side too:

- It's been on for 3 months, virtually without downtime. And GM seems to keep the wheels rolling. Been in and out of gf/epi servers the last year, and the one that lasted longest closed after 8 weeks. With much bigger playerbase.

- Rates are NOT messed up. Quest rates ARE 6. Dont mix quest item drop rates, and reward rates. If you want BOTH to be 6, then overall quest rate would be 36. If you find quest with wrong rates, file a bug, and let GM decide. As for transfer quests, some aspects of theese quests can't be tuned in line with rates, maybe with lots of work, but we wouldn't bother GM with such details. You do transfer quest ONCE. If you use 45 min on the honey jars for scavenger quest, live with it. At least untill further.

- GM is not corrupt, neither hard to reach or talk to, and he is not emo. Maybe he is buzy with RL, the fact that he don't live in the server room don't bother me. He does this for free, and he fixes bugs in his own pace.

- Geodata is improved, and hardly an issue anymore. Gameplay is smooth. Most aspects of game works 100%

- No player or clan has reached current status with dirty playing. No dealing behind the scenes. A few bots in the beginning maybe, but they are gone by now. Policy on this is clear.

As for beta conspiracy theory, rubbish. No reason to assume that. Another gf server is preparing relaunch on this forum as we speak, maybe they could be a better target for such talk.

Instead of testplaying, getting emo and complain on pmfun, we should find a gf-server and gather around it. The whole community would benefit from that. There is NO money in this for noone. The english-speaking playerbase is marginal. Stupid to hop from server to server. As for today, this server is ONLY alternative. Despite it's flaws. And latinos have found us! I'll stick, if it closes, this might be my last. Playing Freya/H5 or IL is NOT an option.

All focus on bad sides, and even imagine things that aren't real, but don't see the good sides of the server.

Yeah, as you said, most of the IMPORTANT quests are 6X, of course there are lots of quests - mostly low level - that nobody does, that can and probably are 1x, beacause nobody did them, nor reported them, but if that player would make gm aware of x quest that is not right, I'm sure he would eventually fix it.

I'm tierd, of conspiracy theories, and fighting with frustrated ppl, if you want to see the good side of the server, and just play the game, fine... if not, find yourself another one.

And about those suggestions that dude made on forum, It's like we live in a tent, but he wants jacuzzi in it... as I said on forum, saying again, let them fix real problems, starting with new site or forum, then getting on with reported bugs. Only when THIS are fixed, we can talk about server setup, and adding npc for class change, and increasing dwarf craft, and other s.hits.

Havn't sold more than a handful crystals the last week. A good indication on player activity. Server is almost dead. If server shall survive, someone must -

- clean up forum
- overhaul website
- start voting

Still have faith in this server, but I can clearly see it doesn't look that promising to new players.

We can have all the faith we want, admins need to give a damn for something to happen. Right now, If somehow serer looses connection or power problem, there will be no one to plug it back in. It's sad tho, I had faith in server, but I lost it.. the moment admins stop giving a crap.

Will still keep an eye on my shops, but will not play anymore untill the forum/website issue is sorted out or server populates. Have all my chars in high B, no use in taking them higher as things are today. Nothing more pathetic than empty servers with two guys in dynasty.

If actions are taken, I'll return. Else, well, who knows, maybe we'll meet on another server?!

l2final.eu seems pretty nice. no customs, just 15x rates, and 1st prof, no autopickup - and i've tested tower it dosen't work, for now at least. .... imo it's as close as it gets to what we've played.

Agree. But I have this autopickup-issue.... Have picked to many potatoes and strawberries in RL. Guess I'll pop in for a check atleast. Me, playing darfs and tanks, can resolve the picking-up with macros.

No. It would be one more nail in the coffin for the community, players and L2 as a whole. GM's that fights adversity on a low-rate server with wipes and "Grand Openings" are a disaster to their players.

- Clean up forum. Delete ALL members/messages after a certain date. Get some protection or other routines. Maybe migrate to other CMS.
- Give website a overhaul. Not much work, could be done in 1 hour.
- Enable donations. Yes. Enable donations. It will (hopefully) give GM obligations and motivation to run server. He will NOT get rich, but on long terms, it will maybe pay for server costs. Servers with donations are harder to wipe without serious scratches on GM.

Personally, I have reached a point where I could donate a considerable amount for a lowrate GF/EPI server that stayed alive and stable. With autopickup of course I'm getting older for each server, and my back isn't what it once was. Tired of bending over.

For your info: Server runs smooth, has some bugs, but no show-stoppers. Shots and crystals up to B on sale in Giran. If forum/website issues were sorted out, I would recommend it.

Then perhaps we should consider making one.

I suggest G3 with rates 8x.
Classes for adena, mark for sub for like 10kk adena, autopickup, champions dropping coins that can be exchanged for hats.

Automatic tvt event (same hat-coins as from champions).

And that's it. No need for some shitty gm-shops, free noblesse etc.
