Poooof !!! - there it was, on the bottom of hopzone'a list! Anyone heard of this? Done two quick visits, everything seems to work so far. But empty server, and empty forum! Weird! Will any gm start a thread here?

A tip for all searching for a GF/Epilogue server: Here is a possible candidate!

PS: I'm no GM. Dont know either server or owner, just want to get it known around. Havn't been much hype around this launch.........

You want Goddard? If you're lucky you may get it. The castle your clan will get is random.", I understand that he wants players in his server, but... to much is to much. Other then that it's nice that there are options, to bad he didn't promoted in on pmfun.

Well, every day is like launch day, server is completly empty. Not a shop anywhwere. Recon it will fill up a little once the hopzone-listing gets visible.

Might check it out in the x-mas, will prolly have some time on my hands. Depends on the gm, though... Have a bad back, from to much bending-over and picking up... Need autopickup....

Well, checked the server this evening to, and autopickup is enabled!! Started wolf quest, and got 6 nails for each spider, that means a quest item rate of six. Will make the tedious quests faster. Prefer servers with flat rates, that is all rates is the same.

Skills must be learned, and not a single custom-npc!! This starts to look like something good! Will definietly start a dwarf or two, and pop in from time to time.

But server still empty

No anounsements or posts on forum either. Weird.

Anyway, join in those who like this chronicle, the only investment is time. Maybe this one will NOT fail???

There is a lack of GF servers tbh, everyone is playing lolinterlude or crapfive. If this had at least 100 peeps, I would definitely try it.

Funny that gm is so invisible, forum has ONE post (made by me). And server gets TWO votes dayly on hopzone (one by me.....). And website has NO other voting link than hopzone...

But servers becomes what the players make them. My old gm (through more than 3 years) almost NEVER made posts. He stood in the back, and made sure server was up. When reported bugs was fixed, he signed with a simple "ok" in thread, lower-case and no puntctation marks. Server still running, think it has been on for almost six years.

One thing I havn't testet; offline shops! With mega-low population in the beginning, it will need this to survive.

When I signed in, there was no system-folder to download. The good-old "hosts"-file editing. And I got a gameguard error. Had to apply Fyrre's dsetup.dll patch. For your info. Maybe gm has supplied patched folder by now.

I am very curious to see it, and I've played on servers where you never see GM but everything is ok, btw you are in Puregold now ?

Not in a couple of days, think monday was last. Will put it on hold. To many mods, not my type of server. You buff while farming, learn skills while farming, even do class transfers while out of town. Like to mingle, and hang around in Giran

And offline shops do NOT work on nefna. Checked tonight. No custom offline-shop-item for sale either. Would make server much more inviting for those players just checking.

I hope admin get's a little bit active. I enjoy silent admins, but at start, a little bit of activity would not hurt. Allready found a bug regarding kamaloka, that dosen't work, and I`m waiting to see if he has enough reason to change that reward from castle to clan hall, and enable off shops.. witch is very much needed.

small update. Server might actually work, as admin is responsive to suggestions, he changed the reward from castle to clan hall, witch is a big deal, and it will probably turn out ok.

Aye, saw on forum offline-shops are on the way! Good! Dont ask much more for now. Maybe mammon spawn announcement in global chat, when things are rolling? This CAN turn into something good!

Tonight, Giran was pretty empty, but with a few darfs sitting on the square, server will look more inviting! Recon it will pick up speed during the x-mas. Lets hope mother russia leaves it in peace. Or gm can handle an attack. Every server I've played on have had downtime caused by ddos. My humble advise to all: Take it easy. It will pass. And to gm: Don't think all is lost if server lies down a couple of days. Players on servers like this think long-term. Just keep a backup of the sql-databases......

I wouldn't mind giving it a try now that the holidays are here, however, im afraid I might lose more time than I will enjoy and the server would close down imminently. Have you talked to the Admin about the server's longevity? Can he afford it to keep the server up without population? That's my only concern, I don't mind playing on low populated servers as long as they're stable and I could bring a couple friends.
