Hello everyone!
Me and RAY talked lately to re-open our server and to start again with this project! A lot have changed since we have closed our server. Global Lineage 2 have gone F2P with a new chronical and many big servers have been closed their doors ( like Dex Network ) . I don't know if we are to late to re-open our server, but what I do know is that there are still a lot of players interested to play Lineage 2 in a relaxing way and we are aiming for that!
We have learned many things with our old server and I am sure that this time we will do it a lot better! Having fun is what we are looking for, and we will surely deliver it.
Lineage 2 is about community so , we welcome you all in our new project!

Hello everyone,
I really need opinions on this matter! We are aiming to open a High Five low rates server, but in the same time, people are still asking for a GF or Epilogue! So , which chronicle do you think is worth opening those days? I may say that we can open 2 servers ( not in the same time ) , GF or Epilogue and High Five.
I would also like to note that in time, we may update to the next chronicle, starting from GF or Epilogue if we will open a server like this.
So, any opinion is much appreciate it.

guys stop opening low/mid rates. its always the same, frist start 500 ppl. frist month 1k, and then it decrasing till its dieing. [thats the good part] the bad part is that 200 online at start. closed in few days. i preffer to play x3/x7 rpg with 10k online than joining another x7 that will last 2 months with max 1k online. and i guess every1 think like me. but i preffer to play offi or rpg and relaxing on some pvp servers sometimes. so if u open 1 pvp server and u get 400 online its more better than low with 500 online. believe me

Low/Mid server is fine, as long as it's balanced and no custom stuffs! A PVP server it's an option too I may say, but it must be thinking to bring something new and excited, but in the same time to keep the Lineage 2 feel.

Don't agree from various reasons. A server with 1k players is a very good server, a server with 500 players is still a server were there are wars, there are mass pvp, and you can experience all the game has to offer. You can't give russians as type of server, the rest should hope for... russians are russians, they can do whatever the fuck they want, you can't compare them with the rest of the private servers, they are in their own category. So it's pointless to say " u'll never be rpg " or some other succesfull ru server, beacause it's obvios, and whoever wants to achieve that is delusional.

Problem of the servers that come&go, and you are right, all of them failed, and it's easy to think that the next one will fail also, but they failed beacause admins didn't want to dedicate their time anymore, they didn't trust in the server, and so on, all the times when server close, they didn't close beacause there wasn't anyone playing there ( talking about pretend serious server ), but beacause admins weren`t sattisfed with 150-200 players, and they were retarded enough to think they will ever get 2-3k of ppl.

Yeah the starts are like you say, 200 ppl, then it grows in 2-3 weeks to 400, with a peek at about 500, and then clan`s start to emo, and server becames 1 side, and at that point, admins give up and close the server, when what they should have done, is keep it alive, keep promoting it, give new players some boost, and so on. And as long as the server is stable, it dosen't lag, no serious bugs, no corruption, and it's promoted on forums, server can't fail.

Of course now, if you want 5-10k of players... you're gonna be dissapointed, it's not going to happen, ever. That only Russians can do. But to hope for a 1k players is not that far fetched, and as long as the server has strong admins, that don't want to give up... it's all good.

About Chronicle, maybe Epilogue, beacause Gf was in few ocasions, and you really can't find epi low rate.

Good post Adrian! Russians are russians, and that says all On the other side, I tend to think that a Gracia or Epilogue server + a High Five one is the way we will go!

I have no clue what rates would be fair for a high five, but prolly a mid rate would be better suited for it, i just can't take h5 seriosly as a low rate server, maybe just me... so anything above 20x i guess will be fine, but again I'm not sure.

As for Epi, anything between 5-10x is acceptable, but the accent on low rates, are not as much on the xp as in the quest rates, so if xp/sp/adena is whatever it is 5/6/7/8/9/10 it's not that important as the rates on quests, and it has to be setup close to perfection in order to not be TO much but not to less also (1x). And spoil rates ofc. A lot of crafting is based on quests, especially on epilogue when at some point you want dyna, and and quests are very important. And others aswell adena rewards, material rewards, parts in some cases... So, for ME is not that important if the server will be 7x or 5x or 10x, but the way server is setup on quests/spoil is the big accent.

And one important tip or advice or suggestion for epilogue, double check tripple check chamber of delusion settings, if that is not right, it can screw up all server in less then a week.

So i don't really care what general xp/sp/adena/drop rates are, I would say... 8, because everyone made them 5-6-7 and haven't seen 8.. or 9. so 8 or 9 but don't take me serios, beacause i don't honestly care about it, but more if you have something in mind for those settings i've mentioned.

First of all, for me and my friends - we just hate everything above c5-c6. We are oldschool, the game was a lot more real and interesting 4years ago than its now, i think everyone would agree with me!

As i am saying everything above c5-c6 is *crap* it also means, the higher chronicle - the more *crap*.

((I will just give you a hint, there's no good c4 server left in the world and there are at least 5000 people who would love to remember the old days and play in such server with low rates!.))
If you would go with c4, i can even help with advertising and invest some money into this project.


But dreams are dreams, here's the feedback you asked:

First/Best Gracia Final with rates between 2 and 8 all other stuff official / no custom.
And i won't even talk about the epilogue and high..f... Not for me or my old veteran buddies

Hi Zapek ! Well, last good C5 server was released like 1 and a half year ago, and failed after like few months! It had the best files , good advertising and such, lots of people interested until it was released and even 1 month after that! But still , it failed as people have been saying that it's an old chronicle. Well, the server was actually C4 with some C5 features and it still failed! Ok, you may say that it was 1 year and a half ago and that now, people are even more interested then back then. I tend to agree with you that best Chronicles were from C4 through C6. Gracia Final is OK, even Epilogue , but I though people have been "evolved" and that's why I said that we will be opening a High Five server!
Anyway, after few days of our announcement we have been received positive feedback, but to open Gracia Final or Epilogue! With that saying , we will open GF or Epilogue + a High Five server! We are still in discuss about which one we will be opening first , but I think that will be GF or Epi
So about C4, that is .. I don't know .. MAYBE, if we will have time! 5k players sounds good, but are there still 5k in total?
@KAOS, server will be located in Europe , and about flood protection, I think we will handle it. Bots? There will always be bots, even with "bot protection", but having active GM's will pretty sure resolve this issue !

well better only 10-50 bots from 5k ppl then half of server active staff can handle 1k ppl to check/ban, but lets say 2k or more is impossible to do it right. Lot of good server with big potential died because of flood, Aria by Fyrre for example, died 2x by same thing: flood, because there where best devs ever, very good files: GF L2OFF, very good antibot, but to many lags and crashes because of flood.

KABAL, well i think i remember that server but i can't tell why it die.

Anyway, just keep it in mind that you would be the one in the world if you open a good old c4.
People grow up, some of them still want to "rule" some want to relax, i know if someone would make such server it would stand out for sure.

There are less shit comparing with ep and i won't even talk about hf.., less shit - more fun - more relaxing game with low rates.
I can bring a lot good people here, but you have to build a good server, not a common HF where everyone don't know what to do first..
