Actually, I have four clients installed, hellbound, final and epilogue for myself, and a H5 for my kid, and for keeping in touch with my old server. But no interlude. Done with that. Highly overrated.

For those who dont know, this is no problem. Trick is to move and rename the finished lineage install folder once install is finished. If you install NEWER chronicle in addition, just install/upgrade, your first install is safe. If you want to install OLDER client, you maybe have to do a formal uninstall of first client; it will be safe on new location. I have 4 folders with 4 clients in "My Documents", works like a charm! This game can't rely much on the windows registry. Btw, I'm no windows expert, Linux is the real way of life!!!



Done all by the book, and read the Aria forums. Reinnstalled, patched, patched manually. The problem is, my windows will not run the binaries. It will not touch them.

I might try to get it going on a Debian install, but running in wine/crossover not an option in the long run; my hardware is not top-notch. Maybe I post latest error messages on aria-forum. Recon server will survive some more days........

i just don't understand why... this chronicle is deffinetly a good one who don't want to go to the stone age of interlude but despises god and h5. the staff put a lot of work in it and they are dedicated people. It just doesn't seem logical to me. the reason behind the hate that it's immediately got here after the announcement of opening (and what it still recieves) is a mystery either.
...Sooo wanted it to be successful. But now there is only the rust bitten Interlude or shiny sparkling GoD crap. I wanted to come back to L2 but sadly it seems I won't be doing that any time soon..

Agree on every point. Today we have two good lowrate Final servers, both almost empty; I am talking about Aria and L2Toxic. They both have one major drawback; they are configured to let drops go to the ground, not straight in inventory. I mean this is very important, especially in order to get new players. Aria have also had big problems with their patch, lots of things was changed, and new textures were added or modified. Most often the simplest is the best.

Lastly, experienced players must make an extra effort in order to give theese retail-like Final-servers a smooth birth. I am talking of a steady supply of shots and crystals. In stead of starting a tank on opening, it's better to spend time makeing a crafter, and set up a factory for shots, and a shop for crystals. Make it offline, and open another account. Pays off in the long run; newbies from Freya/H5 are used to shots in Grocery, and most PVP-servers have gm-shops for such. The retail-way of doing this is most fun, but it dont work unless there are private shops at all times.
