All servers will be down for maintenance on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 5am PST / 7am CST / 8am EST / 12pm UTC/GMT. Estimated downtime is approximately 12 hours.

The Goddess of Destruction client will be available for download through the NCsoft Launcher approximately when the server maintenance begins.

With this maintenance:

The Goddess of Destruction game update launches!
The new Shilen server opens for new players!
The Path to Awakening portion of the website opens.
The L2 Store opens.
Items purchased previously from the L2 Galleria can be retrieved from a Dimensional Merchant NPC.
All players that purchased a Destiny Pack of Destiny will receive their assigned Vesper Weapon of Destiny and 10 Destiny Enchant Weapon Scrolls on their highest level character. Find more information about this process in the FAQ.
The Vesper Dreams event, including Double XP ends.
A Stone of Destiny will be delivered to all characters level 40 and higher. The Stone of Destiny is a permanent non-tradable items that allows your character to Awaken to any of the eight Awakening classes.
All Nevit's Hourglass items will be removed from the game.
All characters will be moved to Talking Island Village.
All characters' vitality will be refilled. In Goddess of Destruction, Vitality is automatically refilled every week and is shared between cahracters on the same account. As it no longer a manual process that is a part of the maintenance, maintenance noticed will no longer include this mention.

The Shilen server opens on November 30, 2011, with the launch of Goddess of Destruction. Shilen is a brand new untouched server that is the optimal place for new players to start their experience of Lineage II. The Shilen server has the following characteristics and restrictions:

The Shilen server is for new characters only. Server transfers to Shilen are not available.
Server timezone is CST (Dallas, Texas, USA). This is the same server timezone as the Chronos server.
The first Territory Wars will be on Saturday, December 3, 2011, and the first Castle Sieges will be on Sunday, December 4, 2011. These regular scheduled activities occur every 2 weeks.

To celebrate the opening of a new servers for brand new characters, here are a few goals that characters are invited to reach as they explore the fun of Lineage II. The first character (or clan, if applicable) to reach each goal will be listed on the website and become immortalized in historical fame. Also, the more ambitious characters can try for a special goal that gives an item reward!

Be the first, be immortalized on the website!

First player to complete their first class transfer quest.
First player to complete their second class transfer quest.
First players to create a party together.
First group or raid to defeat Queen Ant.
First clan to reach level 5.

Special Reward

Awaken in style with the Jet Bike!

The very first character to complete their Awakening on the Shilen server will receive a Jet Bike Mount Bracelet! Only one character may receive this reward, so hurry to your Awakening!

The Jet Bike Mount Bracelet is a permanent item with a transformation skill that gives you the appearance of riding on a large steampunk jet bike! The bracelet cannot be traded, dropped or sold.

Player Reunions

With the launch of Goddess of Destruction, many players are returning to Lineage II. We are happy to offer returning players a dedicated space on the forums where they can search for and reunite with old friends. On November 30, 2011, once the Lineage II forums are available, the Player Reunion forum section will be opened! Stay tuned for future links to the section!
