i wanted to ask when should i use as tank this toggles? When to use Guard Stance and when to use Shield Fortress in what sittuations? Which is better for RB and which is better for PvP

Guard stance's mana consumption is pretty low if enchanted to +1 so you can use it pretty much in oly fights. On raids you just need a recharger.
Shield fortress on the other hand consumes a lot of mana. I only use it when I'm tanking something hard in mass pvp.

Hm, between max Guard Stance lv 4 (13MP) and max Shield Fortress lv 6 (14 MP) is 1MP difference

Is that p.def +50% shield def rate from Guard Stance adequate to that def rate from Shield Fortress? ;S

Those MP numbers are for activating the skill. The consumption rate is different, and yes I agree with Icarus and BigLOL. Another thing is, even without guard stance enchanted u can regen faster than it consumes, supposing u dont use other skills u could stay at full mana forever

Ok, so u recomend me Guard Stance that is better than Shield Fortress in any case (RB, PvP - Guard Stance (the blue one)). Coz i need to be sure, im playing on low rate and i dont have enough SP to buy both

personaly i thought that Shield Fortress is better, that it meant that i get shield block almost every hit

shield fortress > guard stance ,but guard stance consume less mp so its better in ur case

no its not possible to keep guard stance on mp regen rate, well maybe in IL and below but in later chronicles guard stance eats a lot mana and u cant hve it active for a longer period of time, to be more exact - non enchanted guard stance eats like +/- 50mp/tick on 74-76lvl
shield fortress also eats mana like crazy but not as much as guard stance, still its not possible to keep it perma activated

if u have some1 who can buff u bless shield its better to take shield fortress, if u dont - take guard stance
if u dont have any recharger with u, use those toggles only when u see or u know u r goin to get heavy damage

Back in pre-hellbound era I am 100% sure guard stance will eat your mana. Post-hellbound I am not 100% sure since at lvl 85 your mp regen is higher. But guard stance takes away mana proportionate to level so I'm not sure.

And about shield fortress I dunno, I think it consumes more but I'm not sure. Anyway, guard stance is better than shield fortress any day. And imo guard stance > shield fortress even if you have shield buffs. GS is pdef and shield rate. Alot of shield rate. Sure, I haven't made any tests as to what is more efficient so it's just imo.

Ur a sk 360 degree shield defence so get guard stance for more rate

Guard stance is the Pdef one.

And at least until lvl 80 a TK can keep full mana with guard stance on. I tested it. Dunno about SK but their mana regen should be about the same

70lvl, Guard Stance lv4: Increases P. Def. by 256.5 and Shield Defense by 50%. MP is continuously consumed proportional to user's level.



even first levels of this skill increase shield def rate by 50%, there is a difference only in additional pdef
