Hey all. I'd like to ask if seal of suspension is considered a mental attack or no? Would using the Mental Shield skill protect me from getting seal of suspension or no? Thanks in advance :)

hi. yeah its mental attack no doubt. just like most of overlord and wc debuffs, silence fear slow and so on....

Could you argument that? Or is it based on a guess? I'd like to believe that it is actually a mental attack but does anyone have any proof or perhaps anyone did some tests? I could use with any kind of information.

Yes I have seen this list before and since Seal of Suspension isn't part of it does it mean that it's not a mental attack? I think not. I guess no one knows for sure :?

If it's not included in any category then it's a simple debuff which only goes through magic defence imo.

Me and my friend tested this on my server.
Full RB jew (for mental attack resist) + Mental Shield:
Out of 40 tries 5 succeeded.
Normal jewels (to keep the same mdef as with rb jews) + No Mental Shield:
Out of 40 tries 3 succeeded.

So i would guess that proves seal of
suspension to not be a mental attack but instead a de-buff only resisted by mdef.

Yet, I don't know if it's true, it's chance after all... Would be nice if someone could confirm this. :roll:

Also to the guy who said that it's not a mental attack that's why it lands so much i'd say: it also could be the fact that suspension has a very high BLR (Base Land Rate) which is 0.60 while let's say Seal of Silence only has 0.40.
