currently i am playing an AW...
just level 47, with tempered mithril set, dark screamer w/SA focus...

first, i dont want to see any suggestion to get a buffer/healer...
cause i play at 2am onwards, and its hard to find a buffer at these time in our server...

anyway, I've tried mobs that are of the same level with me...
but i am having a hard time killing them, since these mobs always have "strong pdef" or "strong patk"...
i just want to find the "just-right" mobs to kill, giving decent exp (and drops if possible)...

anyway, i play at a low rate server...
CT1, or whatever the chronicle is...
but the kamael has just been released in our server...
my server is a retail, therefore official server...
just want to inform everyone bout this so that noone will argue bout the server i'm playing...

Dragon Valley?

dragon valley is ok, only if i have a healer with me...
or if i have CH buffs..
but since i have neither of them, it was out of my choices...

anyway, even if i want to join a clan with a CH, i am forced to not joining any...
its because most of the clans with CH have high level requirements...
pity me about that...

try to hunt green mobs, maybe this will solve your problem

aside from timak orcs(near oren), what other green mobs can i hunt?
sorry for asking noob questions...
i'm kind of desperate in finding other places to hunt mobs...

there are tons of mobs between 42-45 in l2 just do some research.....

I suggest you to try in forest of the mirrors, nice is exp there and mobs are 46+. They shouldn´t be a problem for you. At level 49 you ll get some skills, so you may try in cemetary (at the entrance). Mobs there are also easy, but be careful with the imperial slaves, which are agressives quest monters and appear in crowds (at least in my server).

Mana? Why should it be a problem? As long as you just hex there's no problem.

I suggest getting a buffer that's the first place. Get an account that is shared with a friend or smth. It's VERY hard other ways.

If you can't, go to dragon valley, in the entrance from death pass. light green mobs, very weak but rather good xp. I used to lvl there on lvl 40 with no buffs, i don't know how you have problems.

If you manage to get buffs and you reaally need xp, enchanted valley at the elder treants. At lvl 54 i used to get about 0.8 per mob on 4x and they die VERY quick. Though remember that the nearby mobs (the liele or fline elders) give very low xp.

well, i have tried at dragon valley when i was still 43...
so maybe thats why i had problems in that area...
but since mobs there dont give any herbs, it gives me problems...

i'll try the forest of mirrors next, in the harit lizardmen..
hopefully, i'll have some luck there...

hex, unlock, and 1-2 blows when you get bored & no buffs = no mana

as it was sayd before there are tons of mobs in l2.. if u want to solo choose green mobs!if u have good gear and shitloadz of ss-go to white/yellow mobs if u have buffs and good gear u can solo in cata YES SOLO!u just hex and use ur high dex and str to deal high ammount of dmg...if u dont have good gear and u rly want to exp a bit faster-go unlock chests-only chests dont touch nothing else..unlock unlock unlock till u get some enchants (weapon if u r rlucky) sell them get gear and here u go..dark screamer focus+ur high base stats oriented to damage dealing=u r machine.. if u want to exp dont use unlock so ur mana will not be consumed so fast best way is to get cata party-u will be needed for sure

Blows when you get bored? You should learn how to solo. You use skills either in extreme situations, either when you know you have a mana pool to support you.

I love AW, i made one on a high rate server to learn how to play with it, but on low rate i prefer for you to exp in enchanted valley, or you should try catacomb of branded(44-52) (north of giran harbor) i played here all the time until 52, if u are lucky, u can join to a spoiler dwarf party ( beautiful old SE times with dual swords and weak buffs, but the dwarves loved me XD )

@icarus well, your suggestion was REALLY the right one.. using damaging skills only when necessary... and thats what i always do... and i don't even have problems with shots because i always carry loads of them...
also, i mostly depend on critical damages, that's why i bought a dark screamer with focus...
in this way, i don't have to depend on my skills to do damage...

also, i dont really use the skill unlock... it cost quite a lot of mana, and it needs a lot of thief keys...
and since i have "summon treasure key" why should i need the unlock skill...
summoning treasure keys while in town is an advantage for me since my mana regens much faster while in town...

the only skills i always use are hex and power break...
