You're right about aura sink. aura sink have a higher base chance than seal of gloom w/ about 20%.
But not to mention , even if it's c5 and OL doesn't have things like VoP , Flames Of Invincibility , Pa'agrio's Fist and Seal of Blockade , OL still have Empower 3 , Zerk and Arcane Power.

So w/ higher m. atk then WC's you will land seals more effectively.

As razveck sayed OL's CP = 1.5*WC's CP .
OL's hearth of paagrio > WC's chant of life
And WC doesn't have Ritual of Life.

And you forgot about Seal Of Flame , Seal Of Poison those Damage Over Time spells OL posseses too.
Not to mention about Seal of Scourge wich i found it really usefull.

The problem is as always : mana


yes, everything u said was true, but u cant just spam seals + drain + cp. Thats why me and paagrio posted some "take it easy" strategies. U wont kill fast, but u will have enough mana to survive

Kent i played OL for i forgot how many years :) i know every skill but i know OLs MP too. Sure u can spam all skills and than what :)? DIE ?
Suspention is one of the best seals with good land rate, its always the first seal to cast.

About WC having higher m.def, it realy has better m.def with MAGNUS. + if the OL buff zerk the m.def difference becomes prety significant. WC has devine lore + arcane wisdom = thats 35% less MP consumption which is prety much if u use it for drains. WCs in MAGNUS have 15% more MP + higher MP regen. Btw i`m not 100% sure but i think that arcane wisdom influences magic skills land rate ( meaning higher rate for debuffs ).

So basicly its only natural that WCs kill OLs in oly fights.

We're talking about C5 , so no COM and no Divine Lore but you still have COV.
No, arcane wisdom doesn't increase land rate on m. skills.
And yes, suspension is really 1'st thing to do on WC.

Yea i didn`t pay attention to the c5 part well anyway arcane wisdom -30% Mp consumption and no OL VoP :).

About AWisdom increasing land rate how do u understand - Significantly increases efficiency of magic ?

maybe the wc has chances but his mp drains as fast as the ols and he has lesser matk if i recall so his drains wont be so strong and with arcane wisdom his cast speed is slower then a turtoise so its rather difficult to kil ol with drains
plus ol has cp recovery skills 1 or 2 skills and has healed all the cp taken by the wc while the wc is still missing his cp
yeah the ol will have less mana but the cp advantage is more important
once there both out of mana they will come for the meele fight
and that is were the wc will lose :)

U forget that OL has no VoP, no emblem, no buff after 74 lvl its C5 after all. So basicly the cast of the OL will proly be slower than that of the WC since he has the COV buff after all. The CP advantage u speak of is in another chronicle ;). And if the OL begin recovering his CP ( than his already dead... )
CP recover is a big NO in 1 vs 1 pvp especialy VS same type of fighter.
