I finally Managed to get my RUoff Client working with the english Files (except npc Text off)
And now iam Looking for ppl to start a Constant Party there.

Iam willing to Play any Class.
My timezone is GMT+1 Germany.


Anyone up for conquering RUoff? Or is there already any english speaking Clan?

What are the steps required to play there? Is there a guide or something on how to make account etc. because I'm sure many ppl would want to try it but get lost due to the language barrier.

It doesnt Block me and iam from Germany. You just Need to Change Schemata for non Uni-Code Programms and that is just for visual because of cyrillic

Update your "normal" L2 Version (from N/A servers) to High5.

Take a look in the system folder. Rename all the files with a "...-e.dat" in it in "...-ru.dat".

(Simply exchange the e with ru)

Copy and paste them in your RUoff system folder.

IMPORTANT: Start the Loader (Zapuskatr). After the loader started copy paste the files. start l2

If you copy paste the files first the loader overwrites them.

Van Holter is the fresh one
you should start try to find english ppl there first

this is the loader:

Install it and create an account. It is a bit difficult because of cyrillic but i made it with a few tries and guessing.

After that install the russian l2 version

a) via this loader
or
b) here: http://cdn.inn.ru/ncsoft/lineage2/setup ... 2.6_P3.rar


If you download it via the link you have to set the path to your l2 folder later in the loader.

After that you need to change your windows shemata for programs that dont use unicode to "Russian" so that your windows is able to start the russian L2 version.
For me using windows 7 it's like:

System Configuration -> Time, Language, Region -> Change place


Then i got the window you see in the screenshot.
Then i choose "Russian Federation".
