My question is for those who like to play on retail like and low rate severs with reatail buffs.
How do you selet an B grade an above armor?
OR
Do you just go by the class you are or do you factor in that classes race?

For example Archers; normal set up is Doom light then Maj, drac, dyn archer, vesper
Or do you base on race
SR: BW then the normal setup
PR and Arbalester: Doom DC light then normal
HE: the normal setup all the way

My reasoning behind this set up is to make up for the lack of stats and/ or skills. PR have such a slow atk speed by nature and high atk powr the 4% boost in spped from a DC set may turn out to help more than the extra $5 atk you get from a maj set.

Please note this is not a topic asking for the best gear is for each class, I'm well beyond that. This is more about race stats influencing an armor selection.

Races do have some influence but I think most ppl go by prefference/economical possibility, and rly who cares about B grade anyway?

For the most part I dont care about B grade but since its in the game I made it part of the post. I tend to get top C grade and use that til A grade. Tho if I come across a nice b grade set and I dont have the needed parts to craft a grade then I'll buy it.

Common setup (e.g. same armor set for all archer classes , same armor set for all dagger classes) .

P.S. Back on Interlude, people preferred to use mj light on gh for instance bcuz it has low con so it is more vulnerable to stun attacks than the other daggers . But now, attribute system rules the world of Lineage 2 !
