Wow... I was not expecting so many comments at such short notice :) Thank you everyone!

TheDemoNoffHell, mariolinho has explained what does the "Skill transfer system" means quite accurately, please check his post above mine :)

Now as for the platform, Battle for Dawn was quite well known when it was l2off project, later on they were working with l2dc team. Now it has become closed source project which is developed by their team. Actually, Battle for Dawn programmers have reached really good results lately (retail like working Seed of destruction, Krateis Cube, a lot of skill related fixes, geodata fixes, server performance fixes and etc) :)

All of them are pretty much the same thing. They just changed the name to fool those that don't know what is up about it. They knew l2j spells disaster for anyone (project is not bad in the right hands, but this is the reputation it got over the years) so they invented a new name for it. That's pretty much it :)

Are you talking about l2j and l2dc or BFD? Since Battle For Dawn has been using this name for around 6years.... However, yes Battle for Dawn team was forced to choose between l2off and l2dc since there were not enough resources or people to work on both branches equally so l2off projects were closed :) Anyway, this would take me a lot of time to explain but if anyone is interested, check news section in Battle for Dawn website, there is an article about all those changes. Quite a long one actually....

Anyway, the best way to know how things look in any server is to try it :) Everything before that is based on guessing usually or gossips... Or sometimes on your own experience but everything changes so why not to give it another chance :)

You should check your domain.
Me and my friends can't join your website anymore, it redirects us to RPG-CLUB website.
Seems like they are buying that kind of shit from ISP's
I've asked for ppl to try it here, and 6/7 ppl that I asked was redirected to RPG-CLUB, just one of then, that lives far from here, could join the real BFD website.

Or you could check your pc, since most likely rpg-club has modified your hosts file to redirect other webpages to them. Just look for hosts file in windows folder :)

Update:

Yes it is like I say... Rpg-club uses nice patch :) fix.exe from their patch links 184 servers to rpg-club. "Nice and honest marketing"...

p.s. GoDs3nD, thanks for the tip :)

Ohhh, thats sad :x
It really was my hosts.
What kind of bullshit -_-
I were thinking on joining there, but I don't want this kind of attitude from the staff of a server.

Another point for you Maila, we're almost sure joining you :)
