Nekys, you're a dev, what did you heard about this? And what forum does the devs use this days? Since postpacific is down for quite some time.

I doubt they leaked.

On the other hand, Gracia Final files never leaked.

In my opinion, it's pretty safe to assume it's true. At least RPG claims should be, since they didn't lie until now concerning this things.

Technically, it is possible to steal every piece of code or an application.
Technically, it is possible to decrypt every cipher.
Technically, it is possible to reverse-engineer and modify every executable.

Technically, everything could have happened. So the only clue you have, is a word from a guy, which technically can be either a truth or a lie.

So practically, you know nothing, none of us knows anything, and we will never have 100% certainty of what has happened.

The point is simple: if it's "fud" or not.

And there wasn't 1 people that said this. It was actually 2 people (until now). And it's not just any people. they are the owners of 2 of the most known and respected private lineage 2 servers around. Yes, dex owner is a known lier, but RPG owner is pretty decent. And if both said freya scripts leaked, there should be at least something behind it.

P.S. devs around here, don't worry Catalin said files will be public (if they aren't already) and everyone will win after this leak. Surely the players will.

Gracia Final (rpg-club) server files, never leaked. I strongly believe that Innova owns rpg-club and made a "fake" leak to excuse it.

Reason: RusOff can't cover all the Lineage 2 market, privates are needed too (different rates, the ability to donate more items, etc). So actually RPG-Club is a better money making machine than RusOff, but its owned by the same people, so they own like 60% of the russian Lineage 2 market.

This is what I believe. It doesn't mean like its true, but its the "russian" way of doing business (russians may agree with me).

So under the same concept, I doubt files had leaked and more of it, they won't go into non-russian hands.

Questions for thinking (not really want replies):
1. Dex said it had leaked files in the past, never appeared, so would you believe it?
2. RPG-Club also rummored of Epilogue but never appeared, so would you believe it?
2. Why Epilogue didn't leak but Freya did?
3. Would they let happen of the same mistake?
4. Now NA/ EU retail servers had merged, would be smart to ease of the private market?
5. They got all leaked, but "core". They actually got the "datapack" (as they say). Gracia Final had leaked "data" too, but I didn't see any modded L2off server based on it, only Java ones. Having data files but not core, won't make server run and personally I would prefer a 98% working Gracia Final server, than a modded-to-work 100% Freya server, because you never know what will appear.
6. Epilogue features (most) are easy to implement and at least on L2DC are implemented by reverse engineering at 95%, so they could just reverse engineer and implement, but doesn't prove of a leak. Freya too.
7. As I said I do not believe into a leak but personally I wish it happens so we can have a faster-than-retail way to reverse engineer for our emulator!
8. Don't be that much of fanboys. A server is for its people and not the reverse.
9. I am just a server admin, I do not even know of coding!
