Manwe from EllieBelly has posted test results regarding the enchant rates for mage and fighter weapons.
Testing base:500 weapons;
Test result:Mage wep ench rate ~40%, fighter wep ench rate ~67%!

Even w/o (official) proofs, everybody knew that mage weapons are harder to enchant :)
