So basically with all them updates, if you don't play 10 hours l2 everyday and have a ... um life , new chronicles pop up faster than you can hit lvl 80 on a standard low rate server. It gets me asking , so which classes are worth playing ? Sure any class can beat any class, depending on skill, but then again that isn't all is it ? First, you take in level of both opponents, enchanted level of skills , equipment ( plain S vs S80 + full epics ain't what you call a fair fight, now is it ? ), actual player skill and finally a shitload of luck. All five considered will declare the victor of a match ( whether an oly match or just street pvp) Anyway, out of the 5 , only luck can't be figured out - for example whether a curse will land or not, whether a spell,skill or just normal hit will crit or not. Lets just say for the sake of argument that all these things are equal for 2 players with different classes. We all know that there are simply unbalanced classes - like a Mage can't possibly kill a Doombringer , and the Doombringer (as much as I love him) can't kill a tank (endgame , all of the above equal).

Much similar examples exist and maybe some will disagree with mine ( it may or may not be true) , but that is all beside the point.

So which from the many classes are worth playing , if you are looking for some normal exp, the occasional pvp (or even more than occasional. I am thinking of starting on a low rate server (haven't chosen one yet) and was considering playing with a summoner, yet all the topics I read say summoners got nerfed and so on.

P.S and by nowadays I meant the latest chronicle.

Berserker, Tyrant, Spellhowler...maybe paladin or shilien (temple) knight

Everyone tells u summoners get nerfed, right, but its still good and funny class, dont listen to ppl who think sws>summoner, other good thing is you dont need epic equipment, MA + resists + Any weapon(mage ofc) with acu and attribute, you can forget about vespers or other shit since you dont need them THAT much. Brain + skill + equipment and you still can kill most classes on oly (forget about TK, PALA and slh ofc)

SK sux ofc, since you need some serious farm to make it endgame, running with poisons has ended over 9k years ago

wl is fun at pve/oly
titan gets nerfed on freya
both dorf classes are fun to play at oly
glad&tyr are oly farmers
sws/bd are very needed at pve/pvp parties
gh/wr are oly farmers and very good at pvp
sr is fun bcoz of high atk speed, trickster is also nice
doombringer&slh are oly farmers
pp is almost useless, ol with ++ debuffs rocks, wc with ++ decrease penalty cov rocks, judicator buffs rock
bish, se>ee but BoE rocks
summoners are not so popular neither at pve parties nor at pvp, they dont rock at oly as much as they used to do back in c5/Interlude

Possible, I said I might be wrong. I never got to endgame with my zerker but I may try again.

EDIT: Though I have no idea how any endgame tank will lose to a zerker (with all the things I said above being equal). I would like to. I really would, but as a friend Doombringer said: (who was actually hero) "There is no way you can beat a endgame tank" (No way I can beat it - me being a Doombringer).

Hes zerker fan, same as me and summoners, but i at least consider losing with some classes

lol...zerk is way better then tanks...b/c tank deal to low dmg...however Zerk can backup his low HP with body reconstruction or sword shield and his disarm is a skill which other classes cannot deal with along with Eye for eye and violent temper so that´s why he is worth playing...he is extremely good vs nukers, archers, daggers because of these skills and we can´t forget his rush impact (stun + dmg)...titans and tyrants are harder for him to kill but not really impossible ofc...BUT it depends on your skills as a player

Before zerk can kill TK he will have 0 mana... low dmg? tk yes, but its impossible to kill
DA? yes, but it has panther and reflects
pala? dont think so... + he has bird which can be healed by TOL/sacrifice
afaik disarm doesnt take away shield,so shield stun can be pain in ass, its has rly good land rate and epic reuse
sk? idk, zerker can win imo

yeh true but zerk has toggle stun resist as well as courage so it is hard to say which one would win and ofc it depends on the server if it has mp pots or not and even then with songs you cannot run out of mana...I would personally choose zerk cuz playing tank is so boring...
