Well since im waiting for a friend to get his sub in my lvl range i was thinking about what sub class i should take later when i hit 75 altho im just 64 now lol so it still is a bit early to think about that...
anyways, i rly would like to take a nuker sub but i dont know which >.<

Hey, u forgot about SpellHowler, or are u an elf and u cant make it as a sub coz is dark elf?

well, first of all, the gameplay of a necro is something betwen a nuker and a summon. he's not the classic nuker ( sps, sph, ss). U can check out post on the forum to see some facts, like Sps VS necro, or sps VS sorc.

Well, i'm not the real expert or a doctor but i can say some general things about them.

Spellsinger (sps) is very good and very used in PVP, he has the bast castnig speed. spellhowler ( sph, and my favorite) it's very good in pve and raids, everyone will accept a sph in a raid due to his high M atack, but he has slow casting speed. In pvp u'll se de difference between a sps and sph. Don't take it wrong, they're good in pvp, but u have to know how to use it.
Sorc is more balanced, he is between these to. his casting and m. atack is more balanced, between a sps and a sph.
Necro in a summoner and has some nuke spells, he's very good bouth in pvp and pve.

Man, it olso depends on whitch cronicle u play, and if the server has mana pots or not, or if u have a frind with EE or SE for recharging. If it's with mana pots i'll go for the sps ( as much is a hate to say it, i one would probably go ofr the sph, necro and sorc after).

Many people say Sps and Necro are superior in pvp, they own sorc and sph in pvp... but it's ur choice after all. Me personally, I HATE SPS TO THE BONE!!!

Depends on chronicle. In c5, necroes get some not nice things, and it makes him pretty imbalanced. In interlude it was compensated by other skills from other classes.

But the necro was still not right. He was a very VERY capable attack mage with superior longevity because of his summon.

In ct1 they nerfed the soultaker. He got only day of doom. The sh was balanced because it was the weakest nuker in pvp before sorc.

I'll tell you how ct1 sais: sh and sps at lvl 80 are VERY GOOD in pvp. Sh does very high damage per hit now, and the sps excells at casting speed and damage over time spells. Necro is nerfed in pvp, as i said. He's not that great anymore. The sorc... I don't recommend it. It seems like ncsoft has forgotten about this class since c4. In c4 it was a good class. In c5, sleep was nerfed, so bye sorc, because this was a valuable weapon. Sorc is weak in pvp.

Remember that you need skills to play, but i'm telling you these things because i can see what classes are plussed and which aren't.

So i read those 3 posts of you both and now lets see if i got everything right:

Spellsinger:
- very good and used in pvp
- best casting speed
- needs a lot of mana pots or an EE/SE to lvl ?
- excells at casting speed and damage over skills.

Necromancer:
- something between nuker and summoner
- good in pvp and pve
- imbalanced
- nerfed in pvp

Sorceress:
- not recommended
- sleep (which was a valuable weapon) is totally nerfed!
- weak in PVP

Is that all right now? Well, yes im an Elf... actually an EE >_<! When i read everything what u both said im not taking Sorceress for sure... now its only the question about Necro or Spellsinger. I know that both have something for their mp , necro have b2m and sps something called mana regeneration or so...which kinda sucks and that skill shouldnt be so good as i heard? I rly love cast speed and i figured out (during my friends leveling on his necro sub!) that necro have a nice cast speed too! But its getting expensive bc of those crused bone i guess? (oh should i mention that i play on retail? xD).

Of course i'll check all the sps vs necro and stuff posts maybe i find some more informations there! But which of both classes would u take? o_0
I dont wanna be too weak in pvp cause my EE is already worse in pvp lol xD not to talk about her cast speed... she's slow as hell! (just bc i dont have acumen on my SOM yet! altho im wearing DC robe [mana thing isnt a big problem at all!] )

First of all, what Cronicle are u playing? it's an useful information if u want an acurate aswer 2 ur question.

well, generally, form whati know, EE go for SPS and SE go for SPH.

U have ot take in consideration the game style of these 2 classes.
On SPS u will relay only on ur skills, on nukes.
with Necro it's a bit more complex, u have a sommon, it's a bit more complicated, u have curses...

In my opinion a Necro is more suited for anything including pvp, pve, farimng, partying, raiding... he can endure more, can handle situations better.

But it's ur decision. Who u like more. And what game style u prefer. In ur place, if i'm EE, i would go for sps.

Maybe my info is wrong, but from what i konw elves are Dark magic limited... so u wint be able ot get necro as a subb.

well if i check the avaible classes i would be able to take ...then i can take every human classes, elven classes, 3 orc classes and 1 dwarf class!
so what is that about being dark magic limited? i know some elves taking sorceress or necro as sub class o_0

The playstyles of both nukers wouldnt be a problem i can get used to it ^^ so dont worry about that lol xD
if i would go SPS i would have a bad mp problem o_0 cause when that mp regen skill is that worse lol then it is kinda useless 0_0 isnt it? o_0

SORRY, ME BAD!!! U CAN TAKE NECRO AS SUB!!! MY FAULT!!! If There is no mana pots then i sujest u go for the necro. Sps burn his mana very quick.

if u didn't play with any nuker, with sps it wouldn't be that complicated, plus the books for him are not so hard to find.

Everybody is saying hat with the 5ft cronicle the dawnfall of necro has begun, but he's still good. with Necro u have b2m, vampiric claw, and cdl, death spike... spells that help u a lot when ur low on mana. U have with him imense posibities. I tihnk it's more fun with a Necro.

In this case, take necro .

Go for sps or sh. If you go for necro, you may say duude it's great, but at lvl 80 you will see the difference.

Since you can't go for a dark elf subclass, go for sps.

necro really seem to be good at pve thats true! cause im still recharging my friend hehe^^ (lvl 40-60 right now! maybe today 61!) and they are strong too! i heard from my friend that he pwned a lvl 72 (dunno the class anymore!) with his lvl 59 necro sub lol (at that time he still was 59 hehe^^ its kinda confusing now o.0 )

Nah necros are nerfed since kamael.. and now they are nothing... i never loved those necros.. cuz they were allawayes overpowered and now they are nerfed.. go for sps i think u would choose pvping with that char and sps is great for that

Exactly. The necroes got nerfed in kamael because they just got day of doom at lvl 79, while the others got more interesting skills. The sh has wind vortex slug, which deals a lot of damage, the throne of wind which is good too and something that matters the most - empowering echo, which acts like a second arcane power increasing mdef.

man dont listen to them..the necro-era has ended..allawayes keep in mind that necros/th/he are played most of newbs and all newbs think theyr class pwnz(i remember i sayd that SE can kick everybody...that was my 3rd week playin l2..)
